“So… you think adding a videographer isn't worth it? Just another expense? Wrong. Period. Especially with Paul.
Here's why:
-He's a natural and enjoys what he does: Paul and I met at Swing Dancing in Grand Rapids mannnnny years ago, and when I heard he was venturing out into Videopgraphy. I saw an example of his work--and immediately knew this was going to take off and that he had found his calling. I wasn't even engaged yet, and I knew I found my videographer, didn't even look at any other company or videographer--true story.
-What he's like: Throughout our process, Paul was an incredible listener to our needs and even more to our wants. His pricing fit our budget perfectly, and even if it didn't--Oh I would make sure it would lol. He's worth it.
-Day of: He showed up early, making sure he captured all the detail shots, and during the ceremony and reception is where his energy really shined! He captured the *ENERGY* of all our dancing, and even joined in on the dance floor--which was a personal highlight for me on the day. He got all the speeches, and the edits were incredible to make it all flow.
-Following the Wedding: 48HR SNEAK PEAK??? UM WHAT?!?!?! This was SO much fun to revel in the day and keep our wedding vibes going. AHHH!!! :D (honestly it might have been sooner, but I probably didn't notice it in my email)
-Two hiccups and how Paul fixed them:
1.) My dad had flubbed his Father of the Bride Speech hard. He still regrets it. I came to Paul with my dad's regret, and Paul sweetly had offered to record my dad giving a speech separately (I'll be honest, if there was an additional cost, I didn't know about it, as my dad agreed to pay anything additional like this for messing up.). My dad had met with Paul on another day, and Paul even included this recording in our final package / page--it was like a full 15 minutes, I was so surprised, and I know this additional recording will be an incredibly precious time capsule for me when my dad leaves this earth. So if you have any flubs, speech mistakes--Paul will absolutely help and see what he can do. 3
2.) I feel bad about this one, as I'll be the first to admit I felt like the anxious bride who didn't know what she wanted. The editing on the video (I think it was the song choice or something) I wasn't fully satisfied with, but I was afraid to say anything (again, totally a me thing, as Paul is super approachable). After breaking down and crying, ashamed I didn't want to bring it up--I finally did. Paul IMEDIATLEY went over options until I was satisfied, explaining that it was my day, and it was his job to make sure I was 110% happy. He was no less than professional, but also so kind and understanding that hey, sometimes we really don't know what we want, but it's his job to help find it. I felt better, and the video of me and my husband's wedding day? Heck Yeah.
TLDR?
-Get a videographer.
Sorry, let me say it again:
*Specifically* book Paul and his team's talents.
You won't regret it. 3 -Erin & Will”
