We worked with Jennifer and her team along the way and they were responsive and incredibly helpful (giving us ideas for how to set everything up, what couples have done in the past, etc.) We had our wedding in the Yew Garden and our cocktail hour in the Fragrance Garden before moving inside for the reception and it was all stunning and we were able to go to several spots in the gardens for our golden hour photos (Japanese Tea House, rose garden, I could go on and on!) I 100% recommend Brookside Gardens for any wedding and am so grateful that we were able to get married there!”

We did not use Jennifer for our engagement pictures, so I knew I was taking a risk when hiring her as our wedding day photographer. I was confident with what I saw on social media and our email correspondence ensured me that she would make a great fit for us. She was communicative along the entire way and was intentional when asking for our shot list. On the day of, it was very clear that she was very purposeful in capturing all of my preferred shots and made a dedicated effort to be present for each moment of the day. “We’ve said it many times during the wedding planning process and we’ll continue to shout it to the hills: hiring Kristy and her team was the best decision we’ve ever made and the best money we’ve ever spent. From the consultation and throughout the entire process Kristy was lovely to work with and incredibly friendly and personal but also always on top of everything. She flagged so many little details that we never would have thought of but led to a much smoother wedding day. Her detailed resources, templates, and documents were invaluable, but she was also flexible when I needed to make my own spreadsheets to keep everything straight in a way that worked with my brain. The timeline she created for us was a work of art and a thing of beauty and something I could have never done on my own. She included every single facet of the event from load in and load out for every vendor down to when we needed to bring our checkbook. Handing communications with vendors to her team in the last few months was amazing and definitely reduced our stress levels. While the timeline was delayed (due to another vendor), Kristy pivoted quickly and ensured that things got back on track and as close to the plan as possible. When we changed our mind on things mid-wedding (like if we wanted a more formal send off) she ensured that it was actually what we wanted but then changed to accommodate it. She also organized tear down of all the decor so that all we had to do was show up the morning after to pick up our belongings. As a queer couple, one of whom is non-binary and uses they/them pronouns, Kristy and her team made us feel welcomed and affirmed for the entire process while vetting vendors to make sure they were LGBT friendly and listing our (and our wedding party’s) pronouns on resource sheets so that the whole vendor team was aware and misgendering was as limited as possible (and never by Kristy or her team). She (or a team member?) also recommended many amazing vendors to us including our amazing DJ who had the exact vibe we wanted (gay pop dance party) and ensured the dance floor was full and everyone loved the music choices. Kristy led our rehearsal like a (very nice) drill sergeant, which made it so much more efficient and effective than others I’ve been a part of. The ceremony went off without any major hitches and everyone (including 13 wedding party members, both of our parents, our officiant, and us) knew where they needed to be and when to do what. I was incredibly impressed and super grateful. It also ensured that I didn’t need to think or worry about the little details like making sure seats were reserved and that people started walking at the right time. My only regret is that we didn’t have the budget to have her team plan our rehearsal dinner as well. That experience versus the day of the wedding was a huge contrast. On the day of, I could answer every question with “ask Kristy” and she would always have the answer. As a very anxious and “type A” person I fully trusted Kristy and her team throughout the process which was wonderful for my sanity. I was able to offload all the thinking and logistics onto her and her team and be much more present at my wedding with my now wife and friends and family. Photos by Abby Carissimo.”

“I'm not a good enough writer to properly capture how great of a service Chris provides with The Easy Pour. Before our wedding, Chris helped us game plan everything - from setup, recommendations on types and amounts of alcohol to even contingency plans for weather (that came into play). The drink menu suggestions that Chris provides are definitely something I recommend taking advantage of - we got the Lavender Gin Fizz and Spiced Honey Old Fashioned, and both were raved on by guests even by folks who chose the mocktail version. On the wedding day, the service they provided was awesome. Chris and Nicole were bartending and were equipped for the rain we got, and Nicole even brought my wife and I drinks (which were so delicious) while we were getting swept away by the attention of guests. The Easy Pour was a highlight for our wedding and knocked it out of the park from an aesthetics, taste, and friendliness standpoint. We really can't thank or recommend Chris and his mobile bar enough.”

You know him as DJ Casanova, but around the office, we just call him Jamie. Back in the day, he was just a child of immigrants recording his favorite songs over his parent’s cassette tapes (sorry Mom and Dad) so he could listen to them on his prized Walkman. Jamie entered the DJ field in 2009, and before long he was spinning something at a different party every week. Pretty soon he realized that sharing his love of music with like-minded folks was more than just a hobby, it was a gift.

“Jamie Alberti, aka DJ Casanova, was the BEST DJ we could have possibly chosen for our wedding. He was incredibly helpful in the lead up to the big day and met with us in advance to discuss the details, the vibe we were going for, and the types of music we definitely wanted played on our big day! On the day itself, he had all the tech set up and ready to go for our ceremony, the cocktail hour, and the reception itself - all of which were spread out in different locations across our venue. He definitely got his steps in on our wedding day but he was certainly up to the task. He did a great job with the announcements for the evening and we're so happy that we went with him! Highly recommend!”

We wanted spiritual but not religious, we wanted special but not cheesy, and most of all we wanted someone calm, cool, and collected like K. From the blessings before dinner to the entire ceremony she made everyone feel welcome and loved. I honestly think I looked more at K than my now husband during the ceremony because I was so nervous.
