Hi, I’m LaKenya, owner of Lala’s Crib Catering. I’ve been passionate about catering for over a decade, starting my journey in New York, where I built the foundation of my business. What began as a love for cooking and bringing people together has grown into a full-service catering company now serving North Carolina, parts of South Carolina, and Virginia. I travel for events and specialize in creating memorable experiences through bold flavors, quality ingredients, and beautiful presentation. Every event is personal to me, and I take pride in bringing each client’s vision to life with care and excellence.

Chef Tara is a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park NY. She has lifelong experience & was raised in the food industry. Growing up in the family's restaurants and summer resort businesses gives her well rounded expertise in both front & back of the house. Chef is well versed in many international cuisine styles and personally speaks to each client to create a custom menu for your wedding/event. Chef does not offer a limited list of items to chose from or a limited option of packages for catering. Each event and menu is unique.
