Southern Harvest Hospitality Group is a group of restaurant and catering companies founded on the principle of bringing the area’s best produce and meats to our guests’ tables. Our chef-driven menus feature seasonal and regional favorites, and are customizable to fit your specific needs. We began our journey more than a decade ago, and founded Southern Harvest on the basis of providing chef driven, locally sourced, and southern inspired cuisine at an affordable price. Our owner, Tom Meyer, had a dream of becoming the most respected hospitality group in North Carolina, and we work tirelessly every single day to make that dream come true.
We love to take care of you…it’s the heart and soul of what we do. We strive to provide not only a service, but an experience for our guests that includes responsiveness, personalized attention to your needs, and us going above and beyond to make sure your event is everything you imagined.

Food was SO GOOD!
The worst part about being the brides on your wedding day is not eating enough of the good food!! Southern Harvest was great to work with and the food was amazing! My only regret was not eating more lol Their servers were amazing as well. They fed us in our bridal suite during cocktail hour and we got appetizers beforehand too. They worked with us and were flexible and I cannot thank them enough!
AMAZING
Amazing through and through! This is a catering company that operates the way one should. You are able to have your tasting (within reason), all the food you would like. We had our tasting a quickly realized that we were wanting the more southern/soul side of the menu. Megan facilitated a protein pick-up, for we didn't know all we needed to taste originally, and LOVED everything. The brisket, the chicken, the salmon, the Mac, the greens, the BBQ meatballs - YUM. Would highly recommend this company for your event. I don't personally have a photo of the food or setup, but they are no stranger to serving at a party!

What a WONDERFUL wedding caterer. When we booked our wedding, we knew we wanted to serve yummy but casual food, and it was a dream come true to be able to serve Original Q Shack barbecue through Southern Harvest. We absolutely loved the staff — Rachelle and Lisa made every dream come true. It was an INCREDIBLE value for what we paid, and we were able to feed 138 people plus vendors in under 45 minutes, with plenty of food for second helpings. No one went hungry. Every single person I saw that night and afterward told me: "That food was AMAZING." And I can honestly say I have never heard people rave about the food at a wedding that much. Lisa was an invaluable partner in the planning process, and we just adore her and are so grateful to the whole Southern Harvest team.
Best Wedding Reception Food!!
Southern Harvest Catering Company was exceptional in every way for our wedding. Their communication style was very responsive and professional, ensuring everything went smoothly on the day of our 200 person plated reception. The quality of their work and value was truly exceptional - the food was outstanding, with every guest raving about how delicious and hot it was when served. Southern Harvest went above and beyond, with frequent communication and visits to make sure all the details were taken care of. I couldn't recommend this catering company more highly.
