“When we first toured the Carriage House as a potential venue, it was a snowy January day (the opposite of the June wedding day we were touring for) but we could see the vision of space and fell in love with it. Keilana and Dawn were so easy to work with from the initial tour all the way through to picking up our stuff the day after the wedding. They were always available to answer any of our questions, no matter how small. They broke down the planning into parts, so it never felt overwhelming and they were always very clear about what information they needed and when. From the tasting day where we got to imagine how the space would be set up for our wedding, to the final walk through where we went through every detail of the wedding day, Keilana and Dawn were professional and enthusiastic, and we knew that our wedding was in good hands. Having the reception at the Carriage House meant many of our out of state guests were staying at the hotel which made the weekend even more fun, continuously running into people we knew throughout the weekend! Our guests raved about the beautiful cocktail hour outside, the lake views from the reception space, the delicious food, and that even with 200 people there was never a line at the bar when guests went to get a drink! The entire reception ran so smoothly, and we had an amazing time. We could not have picked a better location for our wedding reception, and we would highly recommend the Carriage House at Fort William Henry to other couples!! Thank you, Keilana and Dawn! They threw an unforgettable after-party, complete with Pedro DJing his heart out - an unexpected surprise! Our weekend was full of picture-perfect moments: a welcome party under the lights by the water, a cozy campfire, cabins stocked with thoughtful touches like extra blankets, welcome bags delivered with care, etc. On our last night (we had an extended weekend), they somehow helped orchestrate a talent show, Family Feud, broadcast a college football game in one clubhouse, host movies for both kids and adults in others, and s’mores under the stars—because they knew how to give our guests every ounce of joy possible before it ended. And here’s the truth: our family and friends didn’t just “enjoy” the wedding. They were moved by it. They told us it was unlike anything they’d ever experienced, that it was unforgettable, that it felt like us. “The wedding coordinators were the absolute best to work with! They were so professional and quick to respond with emails. We were very happy to have them the day of the wedding as they made everything run so smoothly! During cocktail hour Julie helped set up a small private table with appetizers for just the two of us. It was so nice to spend a few minutes as a newly married couple before making our entrance to the reception. The food was amazing, and both the ceremony and reception spaces were decorated better than I could’ve imagined. The cake was done by Debbie Coye and part of our package - not only was it gorgeous but it was also delicious! The staff were all professional and made sure we had everything that we needed. We are so glad we had our wedding at the Holiday Inn, it was truly the best day of our lives!”

The Whitehall Armory is a historic National Guard armory building located at Whitehall in Washington County, New York. It is a brick and stone castle-like structure built in 1899, designed to be reminiscent of medieval military structures in Europe. It was designed by State Architect Isaac G. Perry. It consists of a 2-story, hip-roofed administration building with an attached gable-roofed drill shed. The administration building features a 5-story octagonal tower and a 3+1⁄2-story round tower. We’ve spent countless hours restoring The Whitehall Armory. Now, it sits proudly as a unique home and special resource for the community.
