From the beginning planning stages all the way through the Tuesday after our wedding when she so generously dropped off flowers at my mother-in-law’s home, Nora was an absolute joy to work with. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

“We used the “Full Monty” package for our wedding and DIY-ed all our florals. Our florist, Hattie, did a great job listening to our vision and responded to all of our questions quickly! We explored options together, and she was able to help us get so much more than we would have with a florist and with the exact color palette we were looking at. Neither of us are great at design/DIY, but we felt very supported by the plethora of tutorials, recipes, and videos to create our flowers. With our florals, we made 6 pillar arrangements, 2 bridal bouquets, 8 bridesmaid bouquets, 3 corsages, a boutonniere, 2 medium centerpieces, and close to 100 bud vases. My maid of honor made my bridal bouquet, which made it even more special than it would have if a florist had made it. The flowers arrived at our AirBnb without any issues, and we lost barely any florals! I will say if DIY-ing flowers, whether with Flower Moxie or not, make sure you have people to help - especially with getting the florals out of the wrapping, in buckets, and cutting stems. We had our crews help, and it still looked overwhelming at first, so I can see how it can be stressful. We had our day-of-coordinator set everything up florals-wise on our wedding day, and everything looked GORGEOUS. If you have the people to help and are looking for more florals for less money, we would definitely recommend DIY-ing with flower moxie”

I booked out over a year and then changed my mind on the color scheme a couple months before the wedding. Jillian was not only super accommodating but she pulled a new inspo board for me based on the fake flower arch I did myself. They worked so well together I could not be happier. Jillian also made a long drive up to Lexington to deliver my flowers in person & brought extra flowers for my photographer to use in our lay flat which I had completely forgotten to ask for. I could not recommend her and her business more. 10/10 customer service & work. I would also recommend finding someone to preserve your bouquet after your event because you’re not going to want to stop looking at it!”

Not only is Emily incredibly talented, she was collaborative and extremely patient as my desires and needs changed throughout the months after we began working together. Any questions or additional florals I needed (which was a lot) she replied in a very timely manner and with upmost care, never making me feel like I was a bother. Now onto the florals. I will not shut up about them to whoever I talk to about my wedding. They were beyond stunning. My favorite part of my wedding besides you know… marrying my husband. Was the floral arrangements!! The flowers were all fresh and considering I ordered some flowers that were out of season was an impressive feat to have all them so beautiful. The way she opened up the roses was also amazing. “We hired Paula and Samantha pretty down to the wire of our wedding, but they immediately jumped in! We contacted them on Friday, and they had our proposal ready by Monday! Our flowers fit our vibe perfectly: I wanted something to pull from the venue's brick, but not look too "autumny" for our January wedding, and they nailed it! They look and feel like "regular" flowers, but they'll last forever and have so far held up perfectly! We're gifting a number of our pieces to our mothers and grandmothers as keepsakes from our amazing day, while saving the rest to display around our house! I gave her a list of some flowers and colors that I love, and she included every single one. Abby recommended the shape and size of the arrangements that would best match the tables at my venue, and they were perfect. I mentioned that my theme was a farmer's market, and Abby brought fresh strawberries that she cascaded out of the arrangements!
