When I was searching for beauty services it was important to me to support a business that was Black owned and make us as brides and all of the women in our bridal parties feel beautiful and Ebonie did all that and more. As two queer brides, Ebonie treated us with respect, kindness, and joy which eased our anxieties about planning a wedding in a traditionally heterosexual industry. We scheduled a trial with Ebonie and her hairstylist Norma and were blown away by the results and felt absolutely gorgeous! We tested the makeup and hair by going out and made adjustments with the team leading up to the big day. The day of Ebonie’s team was early, efficient, and accommodating. I personally made some last minute changes to the look that were not only executed but executed to perfection. We absolutely loved our bridal makeup and it lasted the entire night. My hair lasted the entire night too! Everyone at the wedding complimented us telling us it’s the best makeup and hair they’ve ever seen! Jamie is so well organized and great at communication. “I hired Ashley for hair and Cheryl for makeup for myself and 4 members of my wedding party. They were amazing, and exactly what I wanted! We did a trial session a few months before the wedding and it went really well. I wanted to do a colorful makeup look for my Indian wedding and Cheryl was totally on board with bold green eyeshadow! Ashley was also super helpful with all the headwear necessary for the event, giving us advice for how to prep my dupatta (veil) to keep it in place and that sort of thing. On the wedding day itself, they did a great job quickly sussing out the different styles and tastes of the wedding party. They also had something in common with everyone and were chatting and joking with us all morning! They finished up right on schedule, and were able to do touch ups before the ceremony started. “Tisha and her team did a wonderful job with my October 2024 wedding. I could not have been happier with this hair and make up vendor. Tisha is kind, easy to work with, truly cares about the brides and families she works with, and is very professional. I had about 20-25 ladies that needed to be ready (both hair and make up) by 11:30am that day. Tisha talked to me well in advance to make sure we had the right number of artists, she asked for everyone's hair and make up preference in advance so her team knew what to expect/ supplies to bring, and she works well with everyone from auntie to bridesmaids to bride to flower girl. She kept me consistently updated and did a trial with me to make sure i was comfortable. I highly recommend this vendor if you're a bride looking for someone to have your back. I could not be more grateful to this company.”
