I’m so happy I did because he put me in touch with our dj, thankyouteddy and he did an awesome job djing for our wedding! Mike was very informative and gave me plenty of information. He also has you do a questionnaire to help narrow down the right dj for you based off your music preferences. Mike will reached out periodically to follow up & also puts you in touch with the dj the week of the wedding to go over details. Teddy arrived on time and kept everyone on our toes throughout the night. The only thing I will say, is if you’re doing bridal party introductions it’s best to rehearse it if possible. Or give an exact time of the song for your dj to play when each couple comes out.”

My husband is Dominican and I am from New England, and therefore we were looking for a bilingual band that could play a very wide range of music - from American wedding classics, to Pop, to Reggaeton, to Merengue, to Bachata — and a group that could MC the evening in Spanish and English, and bring the energy to keep the party going. We went with Hook Club’s 7 piece DJ Band, and they were above and beyond fantastic. They curated a setlist that somehow, despite the wide range of music, flowed together and was cohesive. I can’t express enough how talented they are vocally, instrumentally, professionally, and as performers. The dance floor was absolutely lit; even my brother who was on crutches and had a torn labrum couldn’t stay away. It makes me tear up thinking about how much energy, positivity, and happiness they brought to our night — they will always have a special place in our hearts. They are also true professionals - the planning process was easy, they were prompt in all communication, and on the day of they handled venue-related hiccups with grace. Trained at Dubspot School of Electronic Music in New York City, Davis Mallory's DJ style is influenced by his childhood in Atlanta, Georgia, time exploring the music scenes of Chicago, Europe and New York, Los Angeles and Music City: Nashville, Tennessee. Davis has performed at countless weddings, nightclubs and fundraisers with some career highlights including: the Denver Nuggets Halftime Show, opening for Eurovision winner Netta in Stockholm, Country Music Fest 2014, Amsterdam's Club NYX and MadFox, the Anheuser-Busch Awards opening for James Corden and KC & the Sunshine Band, and Vanderbilt Homecoming playing with Aaron Carter.
