“Kelsea and Alena made me feel so beautiful on my wedding day. Kelsea chatted with me via Zoom to get an idea of what the day was going to be like and the look I was going for. I did a trial at Kelsea's studio in Virginia and I got to hang out with her adorable pup while she brought my vision to life and asked me lots of helpful questions. She then took feedback from the trial so that Alena, who was my artist on my wedding day, could execute a perfected version of the trial look. My hair isn't the easiest to work with because it's very straight and fine, but Alena got it to hold its waves all night without it feeling gross and weighed down by product. She also accentuated the purple highlights I got done shortly before the wedding to match my flowers flawlessly so that the purple showed through without being overpowering. She checked in every step of the way while doing my makeup and made sure I was good with the shades that she picked. I don't usually wear a lot of makeup so I was worried about not feeling like myself, but Kelsea and Alena achieved the perfect balance between looking glamorous, but still natural. I didn't have a bridal party, but Alena did my mom's hair and makeup as well and she looked beautiful. Cannot recommend Artistry by Kelsea enough!”

“I found Cloud & Rea here on Zola after initially deciding not to do professional hair and makeup and am so glad that I reached out to them. Claudia was very responsive throughout the process before the wedding and clearly communicated with me as far as pricing, scheduling, advice before the day of, and timelines for getting ready. I had a late morning wedding and needed to have services for 4 of us and she came through like a champ and was able to get us looking perfect for the rest of the day. 3 of us are in our 40’s and my stepmom is in her 60’s and Claudia was able to do 4 completely different looks on us, none of which looked caked on or heavy. I really appreciated that she was able to work with different skin types and facial features, making all of us feel beautiful. I did do two makeup trials due to being indecisive on what I wanted for my final look. I knew I didn’t want it too bridal with the focus on my eyes and by working through my vision with Claudia I ended up with an amazing final product the day of my wedding. “Bianca is incredibly talented and just the best! She did the makeup for my May 2024 Indian fusion wedding (both for my wedding day and my Sangeet), and I could not have felt more beautiful. Something that was incredibly important to me when deciding on a MUA was finding an artist that is well experienced with a variety of skin tones. Bianca absolutely killed it while doing a variety of different looks. Leading up to my wedding, I went to Bianca for a few facials. The actual experience of the facial was so relaxing, and my skin was so hydrated and glowing leading up to my wedding. After my wedding, I also asked Bianca if she could do a makeup class for me. She had made me feel truly so beautiful (but still like myself). The class made makeup approachable for someone who has very limited makeup experience. “WOW! Kiley absolutely blew me away with the look she was able to achieve for my wedding. As a no-makeup girlie, I was quite nervous to wear any on the big day and not feel like myself. Her consultation process is extensive because her attention to detail on every wish you want is spot-on. I told her I wanted a bit of pop of color possibly on my lips but overall just wanted to enhance my beauty with soft pink tones. “I highly recommend Artistry by Marquita! My wedding makeup, created by Marquita, was absolutely beautiful but didn't turn me into someone unrecognizable. During the trial run, the hair stylist, Mona, took my vague description of "Game of Thrones but maybe a bit Jane Austen?" and gave me a gorgeous braided updo. On the wedding day, Marquita and Mona arrived on time and finished hair and makeup for me and the ladies in our wedding party (who also looked fabulous) with time to spare.
