Hey there! I'm Michael - I'm an engineer on the weekdays, and a wedding filmmaker on the weekends! Over the past few years I've developed a passion for wedding storytelling, and Last Light Films became the name for my growing business! As hobbies, I enjoy photography, piano, and real estate investing.

I started this business because I wanted to combine my talent and passion into something that matters. Weddings are undeniably beautiful experiences filled with love and joy shared between all of your closest friends and family. I’m in love with what I do for a living. I get to tell genuine stories of two people who have decided to come together and spend the rest of their lives together. That’s a HUGE milestone and it needs to be shown in a way that’s unique to you. Not every couple’s story is super romantic and emotional. In fact sometimes it’s just about having a really good time. We’re a husband and wife team who has been filming weddings longer than we’ve been married! We’re based in Cottonport, LA but we love to explore new places all over the south. We started filming weddings for friends in 2014. As our business grew, we realized we had a passion for telling beautiful love stories. Hi I'm Andrew! I first started filming weddings when my sister got married in 2017. I quickly fell in love with the entire process and getting to know all the couples and their guests. Maybe I'm just a hopeless romantic haha (My guilty pleasure is Hallmark movies, once I walk in the room with it on I have to see how it ends!).

My name is Mitchell Gaston, and I love telling stories. I began my filmmaking journey all the way back in middle school (which is further back than I care to admit), making silly videos with my friends. Somewhere along the line I got a chance to film a wedding, and I haven't looked back since. Meeting amazing couples and getting to tell their stories is, and continues to be, a dream come true.
