“Let me start by saying this: I hate getting my makeup done. I rarely wear a full face, so every time I sit in a makeup chair I panic a little that it’s going to be too heavy or that I won’t look like myself. I also have terrible skin and can be really self-conscious about it, so the whole experience usually stresses me out. Jessie listened, kept all of my worries in mind, and she somehow made me look like the best version of myself- enhanced, but still me. I got so many compliments on my eye color (she brought out the green!), and my lashes stayed on, even while taking photos in 30mph winds on the Asbury Park boardwalk. Seriously! She made my skin look flawless without feeling cakey, and I felt genuinely beautiful all day and into the night. I literally sobbed during some parts of the ceremony, and you’d never even know it. Jessie and the secondary artist she brought with her were just overall amazing and fun to be around. They had us comfortable, laughing, and relaxed the entire morning, which is exactly what I hoped for on my wedding day. **I don’t have any professional photos back yet, but here’s an unedited one from the end of the night. I cried, laughed, danced myself sweaty, and my makeup was still holding strong!!** Highly recommend!!!”

“I just absolutely adored both Regina and Makeup By Kerstin. They are separate hair and make up, but are best friends IRL and create the most fun trial & wedding morning when they work together! Regina absolutely aced my hair, I wanted long wavy curls, with a slicked back style and she DELIVERED. My hair lasted all day, my veil stayed tight & *the veil came out clean, no hair came undone/or any fly aways* for the reception, which I feel like is a really really import thing that gets over looked. When I told regina I was worried about this at the trial, she said “girl I got it don’t worry!”, and she most definitely did. Everything about my hair and my girls’ hair was perfect! I actually found Regina from one of her instagram posts and fell in love with the way she styles curls. She was easy to book, easy to communicate with, always active on IG (it’s nice to follow along after you’ve booked, but before your wedding), and just the kindest most beautiful upbeat soul. Despite it drizzling and being a little humid, my hair didn’t fall, frizz, or budge ALL NIGHT on my wedding day. My bridesmaids, mom, and MIL also looked amazing all night — and she did all of her hair on her own! Her services were an incredible value and she is wildly efficient. She really did an incredible job, from fully blowing out my mom’s hair to (with enthusiastic permission) cutting and fixing my maid of honor’s bangs so their hair looked perfect. She helped me test out tons of styles and tiny tweaks at my trial and the morning of to make sure I was 100% happy. “Lauren did an amazing job as the sole makeup artist for my wedding day. She did my makeup as well as 8 others and executed all the looks perfectly! I did a trial with Lauren a few months before my wedding which was really nice to go over all the options and discuss the look I was going for. Closer to the wedding day, I decided I wanted to change up the eye makeup palette for the wedding. I reached out to Lauren letting her know and sent her and inspiration pic. She was so supportive of the change and on the day of she CRUSHED IT. The execution truly exceeded my expectations. Another important callout is the makeup lasted all night: through the ceremony, reception, dancing, sweating, and the after-party! I had a friend comment at 1 am (12 hours after the makeup was applied) saying how it still looked perfect. I'm not sure I can praise Lauren enough. I felt so beautiful, yet still felt like myself.
