Everything was so perfect, I cried when I first held my bridal bouquet on our wedding day. We initially contacted Melissa only 6 weeks before our wedding (which was pretty last-minute). After chatting on the phone, we sent her some Pinterest boards with more details about our style and vision. Within 24 hours, Melissa sent a very thorough itemized proposal with the exact flowers and items for us to confirm within our wishlist and budget range, such as bouquets, corsages/boutonnieres, the flower girl basket, the ceremony arch, table centerpieces, and wedding cake florals. The whole proposal signing and decision-making process was super smooth and easy. Something I thought was really unique is that they were able to repurpose our ceremony arch into our sweetheart table decor in order to reduce the cost, as well as repurpose the flowers in a sustainable way. My aunt, who is a florist in Korea, was supposed to do my flowers but unfortunately got injured last minute which restricted her from traveling. “My wedding was 2 days ago, and I cannot say enough about Jackie and Blooms by JG. Hire her immediately. From my first call with Jackie almost a year ago, she immediately got my vision. She was so easy to work with and really listened to what I wanted. I told Jackie, "I just want it to look like I went outside, picked a bunch of random flowers, and stuck them in a vase....in February." And boy did she deliver. I sent over a few inspo photos, and my flowers looked better than the inspiration pictures. All night, guests came up to me and said how beautiful the bouquets were, and I honestly wish I could have mine fresh all year round.. it's just that beautiful. Jackie did the set up for my tables, and they looked better than I can imagine. The corsage was gorgeous, boutonnieres were gorgeous, everything was gorgeous! “We had the absolute best experience working with Florescent and Sam for our wedding! I truly cannot say enough great things about them! I came to Sam with the idea of doing a colorful meadow for our altar but the issue was that the inspo pictures I had for this were from a VERY pricy Lake Como wedding. But Sam came to the rescue and figured out a way to make my floral dreams come true on my much more limited budget! She worked hard to come up with ways that the flowers could be repurposed and used in different ways throughout the venue following our ceremony. She took all of my notes about the colors of flowers I was interested in and completely exceeded my expectations without much more direction from me! Located in Berks County, Pennsylvania, our commitment is to providing locally grown and the freshest imaginable flowers to our community. We will happily deliver within Berks County and the surrounding area. We also travel and have serviced weddings and events in Lehigh Valley, Lancaster/York, Philadelphia and the Poconos, even Delaware and NJ. We generally book 12-18 months in advance and only take a limited amount of work, so we don’t spread ourselves too thin and can give our undivided attention.

“I cannot express how much I loved our florals for our wedding! We came to Olivia with purple whimsical vibes and she absolutely crushed it!! We told her we wanted pops of color and she brought it! I am absolutely obsessed with how my bouquet turned out and am so happy I’m having it preserved because it’s something I never want to forget! We had so many compliments on the flowers, from the aisle markers to our broken arch, everything truly was little pieces of art! She also took Elven broaches from the Lord of the Rings that my husband wanted to incorporate into our groomsman boutonnière! His groomsmen absolutely loved that she made them into pocket squares too instead of the traditional pin! We are so happy we got to work with Olivia!”

Her journey started at the age of six years old, Melissa-May was surrounded by all aspects of creativity. Her ability to visualize things, put them onto paper and create anything from scratch was also apparent at a young age when she completed an illustration of her dream house, then constructed an entire floor plan and a model house made out of popsicle sticks. Furthermore, at the age of 12, her friend’s mother noticed Melissa-May’s gift of artistry and requested that she create cartoon place cards for her daughter’s Bat Mitzvah. She later was asked to create the invitations and centerpieces for her best friend’s Debutant ball.

My husband and I had the opportunity to work with Adena for our July 2023 wedding and we strongly recommend Adena for your floral needs without reservations! Not only did our wedding florals turn out to be even more magical than we could have ever imagined, the process of working with Adena was seamless and we really felt heard and taken care of. Adena listened to what we envisioned, and helped us articulate it further by providing visuals in her proposal, asking questions at our consultation meetings, and listening to our reactions during the mock up! On the wedding day, it seemed as if she had pulled the wedding flowers I had always dreamed of straight out of my imagination!
