Follower of Jesus Christ & adamant believer in the power of an open window on a spring day, sweets for breakfast, & that muffins are lifeless cupcakes that should also include frosting. My husband Donny is a vital member of my team, my partner in crime designated to all the ring shots & all things groom. We have four babies with us, ages three months old to 10 years old, & two in heaven, both miscarriages in the first trimester & carried in our hearts every day. Being together at sessions & weddings is our version of going on a date & we love every second of it.

I love to be able to freeze a moment for my clients to hold onto forever. I do any type of photography from family and senior portraits to events and weddings. I am a local photographer that is full service and very affordable. I photograph all of western PA and eastern OH. I am willing to travel however there will be a charge. The wedding package also comes with a free engagement shoot!

Sarah is an internationally featured editorial, elopement and wedding photographer from the United States who is based out of the Greater Pittsburgh, PA area. She has been invited into British Vogue and has her degrees in photography. She lives in a quirky 100-year-old house with her husband, Chef Jeremy Thomas and their daughter, Vienna Faye.

I would describe my style as a mixture of traditional photography and photojournalism. Especially with weddings, you must have the traditional family portraits, but I also love to capture the special intimate moments between the two of you. Most importantly, I LOVE color. Dark and moody photos are not really my style as I really do not want your wedding day to feel dark and moody. I want your wedding photography to demonstrate the love and fun of your wedding day, hence why I LOVE color and will incorporate it into your photos.

Each wedding is different from the last, and I love being challenged to get awesome pictures no matter what the location is or what the weather is like. My couples are so much more than clients to me, consider me an extra bridesmaid or new life-long friend. My photography is rooted in a passion for bringing smiles to my client’s faces. I was blessed with a natural eye for it because of my attention to detail & creativity. I realized my dream of opening a full-time photography business in 2008. Since the creation of LA Images, I’ve dedicated myself to other people’s memories and have absolutely loved every day of work because it’s more than a job to me. Photography is my art. It’s part of who I am and how I express myself. Next to raising my 12-year-old son, it’s the second greatest gift I’ve been given

My boring professional title is full time wedding and engagement photographer but you can look at me as that fun, weird chick that you’re totally going to be friends with, spend some time wedding planning with and take lovely photos with. Or you can look at me as that girl who’s probably teary eyed behind the camera because she’s a sap and shimmy shakin’ through your dance floor because she wants the best live action photos for your memories. I’m super laid back, but don’t let that fool you. I’m also very Type A and like to have all my ducks in a row and organized to give my couples peace of mind.
