The Barley Room at Pabst was an exceptional choice for our wedding venue. Their communication style was very strong - they answered every call and text we sent, ensuring we felt well taken care of throughout the planning process. The quality of their work and value was super affordable, costing us a lot less than almost all the downtown venues we had looked at. On the day of our wedding, the staff at The Barley Room went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly and our guests were well cared for. We are so grateful to have found such a wonderful venue that exceeded our expectations in every way.

I would highly recommend The Fitzgerald! The venue is beautiful both inside and outside. We were really drawn to the beauty of the ivy on the outside of the building. The colors, the antique furniture, and the beautiful original details throughout the space photograph so well. We had 125 guests and it never felt crowded. The flow of the space was perfect. We had planned to get married outside on the terrace but the weather did not cooperate so we pulled it inside, and then the staff flipped the room for us during the cocktail hour. It did not feel like a “back up plan” to be inside, and it was so pretty. The cocktail hour space was great for mingling with guests and it’s so nice that there are 2 bars so guests aren’t waiting long for drinks. Then flowing back into the ballroom for dinner and drinks just worked out great. It was great to have the outside space and the cocktail area for guests to enjoy themselves if they didn’t want to be on the dance floor. We got ready in the upstairs spaces, which I would highly recommend! They are spacious and so convenient. We were required to use Milwaukee Airwaves as our DJ and All Occasions as our caterer, which took the stress of choosing those vendors off our plate. Both vendors were incredible! Truly can’t recommend this venue enough!

The Factory on Barclay

5.0

Milwaukee, WI
  • Up to 300 guests
  • Select services
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $4,500

The Factory on Barclay is one of the largest Industrial venues in Southeast Wisconsin. The 2-story Cream City Brick walls throughout the space encompasses the history of Milwaukee and provides a grand backdrop for any wedding style. Accommodating up to 300 seated guests or up to 400 for a cocktail style reception, along with an onsite ceremony, The Factory offers great options for groups of most sizes. Enjoy the 2 oversized, separate, onsite suites to get ready whether you choose to hold your ceremony onsite or offsite. Guests enjoy the large, outdoor patio with warm cafe lighting to enjoy the fresh air.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Has a dance floor for celebration
  • Provides a dedicated team on-site
  • Space for a large guest list

Venue considerations

  • Requires outside catering services
  • Does not allow pets
  • Venue feels large for events with small guest lists
We couldn't have picked a more beautiful, open and perfect venue than the Factory on Barclay. We got married 5/13 and people are still messaging me about how stunning the venue was. Sarah was amazing every step of the way from letting us tour multiple times with different family members, owning set up of our day and tear down. We didn't have to worry about a thing besides having our day. The rest of the staff day-of was absolutely awesome as well. Alcohol is provided. Bartenders were awesome and dealt with the party atmosphere of our wedding really well. We had a little scheduling issue where, surprisingly, we were ahead of schedule and Sarah got all vendors to move things ahead 30 mins. You get so much for your money as well. The space itself is massive and makes the day flow really easily. We did everything on-site, (getting ready, pics, ceremony and reception) and it was the perfect space. Getting ready suites are huge and a big plus. Recommended vendors usually sway people in the opposite direction because you have a smaller list of caterers to chose from, but it's evident that the staff at the Factory and Sarah have taken the time to curate a list of vendors that make a lot of sense for all different budgets and different experiences. We wouldn't do a thing differently regarding our venue search. Truly was the most beautiful day. Will add pictures once we get our formal pics from our photographer!

The Sugar Maple is a one-of-a-kind venue that gave us the most memorable wedding experience imaginable. Adrienne created a cozy, intimate space in the backroom that was simply breathtaking. We said our vows there, surrounded by friends and family with beers in hand. The reception, held in the bar area, was lined with her incredible artwork—one of which now hangs proudly in our home. The beer experience at the Sugar Maple was unmatched. The care and creativity infused into every detail, from Adrienne’s striking poppy artwork to the unique beer pairings, made the venue truly magical. As the night went on, the beer kept flowing, laughter filled the air, and the dance floor came alive. Our guests raved about the unforgettable beer, the artful setting, and the warm, intimate vibe that the Sugar Maple delivered. We ended up having an amazing wedding at Scenic View Country Club in October 2020. The space is nicely laid out and provides plenty of room with dance floor, huge bar and separate dining area. The wrap around porch provided nice outdoor space and would be great for cocktail hours, weather permitting. The views of the trees and green provided a great backdrop for ceremony and pictures. When COVID hit, there were a few changes in their event coordinators which made us a little nervous but once we got Clarissa a few months before our day, that all changed. Clarissa and her staff really made our day special. She was organized and great at communication leading up to our day. Planning a wedding in 2020 wasn't easy but I appreciated Clarissa's flexibility and help as we got closer. Day of, she was so helpful keeping us on track and making sure everything ran smoothly. We had some rain scheduled but still wanted to keep the ceremony outside if possible. We luckily got a window before our ceremony began and the staff was out there wiping off chairs and leaf blowing puddles so I wouldn't get my dress wet. Throughout the night, the staff continued to do an amazing job with serving dinner and keeping our guests happy! We were also very impressed with the food and heard nothing but good things from guests. Overall, we were thrilled with our experience and very happy with our choice to have our special day at Scenic View!

This place was so good to us through the planning process. We booked about 2 years ahead of our date as the world was coming off all the covid craziness. I had seen them on social media prior to getting engaged and we booked after it being the only venue we toured. It is the perfect back drop to any theme or color palette. Let me tell you, they have it all! I worked closest with Kelsey and then Hanni and they were wonderful. Always available by email every step of the way through planning and sent reminders of when we needed to get together for detail meetings. I loved that I was able to do ceremony, reception, food/beverage, tables/chairs, linens, photobooth and even decor with them. It was so nice to have less outside vendors to coordinate. They throw an amazing tasting party where you get to sample a good portion of the menu items including drinks and meet other couples. The tier packages they have updated make it even easier to get an 'all inclusive' experience. (I also booked my bridal shower at Circa on Seventh and got some freebies for already having my wedding booked with them) Everyone I have run into since our wedding has RAVED about the food that it was the best wedding food they have ever had. We did custom cocktails that they special ordered ingredients for. As far as logistics, I was able to drop all my decor off the week of the wedding and did not have to pick up til the Monday after which was a HUGE RELIEF. The bridal suites are absolutely gorgeous and photograph well. There is not a spot for the guys to get ready but the staff had plenty of suggestions and partnerships with other close-by establishments. Also, my wedding was mid July and my dress was quite heavy so it did get hot on the dance floor even with AC. All in all, I would absolutely do it all over again. THANKS UPPER EAST/CULINARY INFUSIONS!!
