Niché Hitch was established in 2016 in Joshua Tree, CA from a repurposed vintage trailer that doubled as a studio space and mobile retailer (hence “Hitch”). “We were on a strict budget for our wedding. I knew that florals would be the best way to save on some of the huge wedding costs. I found out about Flower Moxie from googling where I would get wholesale flowers. I was immediately hooked once I saw the flower options, tutorials, and worksheets to help plan out my special day. I am very big on organization, and this website had resources for every step of the way. I found the perfect combination of flowers for my boho wedding. I ordered the flowers about 2 months before our big day. It was a destination wedding, so I was checking into our airbnb on the day the flowers were arriving. I had them scheduled to be delivered at the Fedex holding center near by. I thought the company only used Fedex shipping based on my research. I went into full panic mode when I saw the flowers had been shipped by UPS. I immediately called UPS and Fedex, and to be honest I was stunned at the behavior on the other side of the phone. The flowers were still in transit, and no one would help me with rerouting. I called Flower Moxie to see if they could change things on their side as they were the sender. Luis answered the phone and it felt like I finally had someone looking out for me. I had already spent 4 hours on the phone with the shipping companies and gotten nowhere. Luis said he was on it and not to worry. I ordered enough flowers for 18 centerpieces, 70 bud vases, 8 bouquets, and 1 flower arch. Needless to say, it was quite the ordeal to reroute everything. Over the next 48 hours, Luis kept in constant contact with me about the progress of the shipment. I know I was on the phone for at least 6 hours with this ordeal, and I wouldn't be surprised if he had spent about 15 hours talking to UPS, Fedex, florists, and customs to get me my flowers. He made me feel calm and taken care of. Everyone was coming to me with questions and concerns the entire wedding week, and I can't express how it felt to have someone have my back, and take an extremely big tasks off my plate. I would absolutely recommend this company for DIY brides. And I hope this review is seen by Flower Moxie to highlight an outstanding employee with excellent customer service. In an age when it takes time and multiple attempts in order to talk to a person on the phone, I am so appreciative of the effort that was given by Luis for my wedding day. He made me feel like it was an important event for him too. Thank you Luis for making my wedding dreams come true! My sister also mentioned you in her MOH wedding speech. We were all impressed :)”

“I wasn't fully sure what to expect working with Poppy, but I was truly so happy with how everything came together! It's definitely a more hands-off experience, which was great for me, but I wouldn't necessarily recommend to brides that are super particular about their flowers. I had a great experience with my floral consultant Adrienne. She really took my wants and budget into consideration and was extremely helpful in picking out the designs that best matched my vision. On the day-of, I didn't have to worry at all about the floral delivery or setup - they handled it completely with my wedding venue coordinator. This was great and took a lot of stress off my plate. The flowers themselves were STUNNING and so far beyond my expectations. Fantastic price too, especially as our wedding was on an island and involved more logistical challenges than some venues might. :)”

“The flowers (on our order) came in large boxes, but they were not labeled, so it took a minute to get the flowers both identified and properly set up. To be fair we were warned about the process, but not about the length of time due to our inexperience. As a note, it took my fiancé 5 hours to process the flowers when first receiving them. I also did not have any updates from them from the time I ordered till they were being shipped. They were beyond more affordable compared to other florists, and the flowers arrived alive and in good spirits. We were able to keep the flowers alive for over four days!! Many of the flowers that we chose did not have specific instructions, so we had to follow the general reference for the flowers and hope for the best. Additionally, some of the flowers that we wanted were not in stock, and they were replaced for us with substitutes but were not notified until we had all of the flowers already delivered to us. Also, as a note, bloom culture uses third party sellers for their flowers, so the quality may vary depending on location. Our flowers were in good condition, and the company we had clearly took good care of the flowers prior to delivering them to us. Would we do it again? Probably not, but it made for good laughs and bonding time and we have stories to tell from it!”

“Our wedding was in 2016. My husband and I knew we wanted comic book details in different parts of our wedding day; we did not anticipate flowers being an area we would do this. I also had a clear idea of what I didn’t want for floral. Enter Bunny. All I could tell her was: I love pink, roses are stupid, I like carnations, maybe some lilies if those were in season. This was not a lot to work with, and didn’t give her much direction. Y’all - she is so creative and talented!! She did paper flowers out of old comic books, found me a bunch of gorgeous pink flowers, added greenery, and did not include roses. My flower girls had flower wands and they loved them. My bouquet ribbon had The Hulk on it. Bunny thought of things I did not, and it was exactly perfect. You will absolutely not be disappointed if you hire her.”

“Stephanie was great to work with from beginning to end. The flowers were beautiful! We would definitely recommend Keepsake Designs. We received many compliments. She did a wonderful job on the arrangements using inspiration photos from my daughter including making pocket boutonnières for the groomsmen. She also provided glass vases for the bridesmaids to display their bouquets at the bridal table. I was kept up to date via text with delivery as well as clean up. We received quotes from 3 other florists and Stephanie was by far the most reasonably priced. I wish I had better pictures to share since we don't have the photographers' photos as yet, but we had a 26' garland for the chapel, flowers attached to every other row, bouquets for 7 bridesmaids and the bride, 7 pocket boutonnières for the groomsmen and the groom, 2 regular boutonnieres for the fathers, 2 corsages for the mothers and then 12 centerpieces.”

They were amazing at their communication leading up to the event and delivered the bouquets promptly according to our schedule the day of the event. Their punctuality gave our models enough time to rehearse the runway with their florals. Aside from their great professionalism, Zombie Flowers is a super creative company. Their floral arrangements can be described as wild, yet put together giving a very unique aesthetic that you can't find from Etsy. The best thing that brides say about their products is that their lightweight and already preserved for life. We cannot recommend them enough to add something special to your wedding day!”

Protecting this wide world from the pestilence that is the zombie flower is no small feat, but I've learned to survive. I've made it my mission to hunt these jokers down, wrangle them together, and to serve to you dead off the proverbial platter. In these post-apocalyptic times, the zombie flowers make for excellent mantle trophies, but some have said they make awesome wedding bouquets.
