Sadie Lake Weddings was the perfect venue for our wedding day. From the very beginning, their communication was detailed, consistent, and caring - DeeDee was always available to answer any of our questions. The venue itself was beautiful, practical, and spacious, allowing us to create the wedding of our dreams. Sadie Lake Weddings went above and beyond, helping us set up many of our wedding decorations without us even asking. To have such a passionate person running the venue made our day so much better. I cannot recommend Sadie Lake Weddings enough - they come with everything you could possibly need to make your special day perfect!

The Blue Elk Inn is a gorgeous hotel just off Main Street at the end of a cul-de-sac. This made it very quiet and peaceful for being only 10 minute walk from the main downtown part of Leavenworth. The grounds are well maintained and there where landscapers out every day before my wedding ensuring there where no weeds and the flowers where in the perfect bloom. The hotel staff were all extremely helpful the 3 days prior and the day of my wedding. There is plenty of space for all the guests and with it being a hotel we did not have to worry about people leaving the property after celebrating. The yard has an amazing selection of wild flowers native to the Leavenworth area making the yard area need almost no decorations. There is ample power outlets all around the yard to allow for extra lighting if needed. My wedding was in the spring and the weather was perfect but with the large old maple tree and pine trees in the back yard there is no shortage of shade. The event team the blue elk inn is partnered with made the day run smooth too. Over all everyone was happy and excited to help us giving recommendations on things for our guests to do around the area along with helping my wife and I plan the greatest day of our life. Also shout out Kyra the hotel manager she was awesome making sure my wife and I where all set. She ensured my wife and I had everything we needed. She would check in about once a month from the day we booked until the mont of our wedding and she checked in with us again twice the month of our wedding. Also she answered almost every question we had and if she didn’t know she got back to us quickly when she found out the answer. Over all highly recommend the Blue Elk Inn for your wedding

We used their crush pad for dinner and brought in round tables and a tent to create this cozy, intimate feel that was exactly what we imagined. After years of feeling overwhelmed with the rental property inherited in a divorce, I took ownership and adopted a turkey named Lola from the local supply store, which turned out to be a boy - hence, Lolaboy Farm was born.
