The Chapel Theater is an original building on the Sleeping Lady property, built in the 1950's by the Catholic Church when the site operated as Camp Field. Today, the Chapel Theater is a great setting for large groups with its dramatic granite walls and high vaulted ceilings.

Usually planned and attended by the couple and a very small number of friends and/or family. This elopement package includes up to 6 guests total. Sunday afternoon through Thursday evening $500 venue rental or Friday through Sunday morning $1,000 venue rental. There is no food and beverage requirement. Elopements are bookable within 6 months of the event, and based on availability at the time of inquiry. Elopements are limited to a 2 hour window for the event.

The ambiance and beautiful grounds and event spaces provide a romantic setting for the intimate wedding you've been looking for! Dream Mountain Venue
Sleeping Lady Mountain Resort is an absolute dream to work with for weddings. Their communication is always timely, efficient, and kind, making the planning process seamless. The venue itself is picturesque and truly a mountain dream come true - the breathtaking natural scenery provided the perfect backdrop for our special day. From their excellent day-of coordination to the stunning indoor and outdoor event spaces, Sleeping Lady exceeded our clients expectations in every way. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding venue partner.
Sleeping Lady Mountain Resort Venue
Sleeping Lady Mountain Resort was the perfect venue for our PNW wedding. From the very beginning, their communication was clear, consistent, and transparent. We mainly worked with Jena and Kevin throughout the planning process and they were both phenomenal. Answered all of our questions, always jumped on a call if we requested, and accommodated any special requests. Throughout the weekend, the staff was incredibly kind and helpful, ensuring every detail was taken care of to make our special day go smoothly. The venue itself is an amazing space - the stunning mountain and river views provided a breathtaking backdrop for our ceremony and reception. We loved that all of our guests could comfortably stay on-site, and there were so many activities for them to enjoy, like the spa, pool, hiking trails, and organic garden. It's less than 10 minutes to downtown Leavenworth, next door to a horseback riding stable, and less than 3 minutes from a golf course. Sleeping Lady truly went above and beyond to make our wedding day everything we dreamed it would be. Highly recommend to anyone who loves the PNW and wants to share it with their loved ones!!!
Magical Destination
I am a Wedding Coordinator and I have done quite a few weddings at Sun Mountain Lodge. Every wedding has been beyond beautiful simply because the gorgeous Mountain Views, and wild flowers! Not to mention a top notch staff and delicious food! I love doing weddings at Sun Mountain Lodge, especially because I couldn’t picture a better place to have to be at all day!

The location and facilities were truly exceptional, with a variety of options to choose from. The staff was incredibly accommodating and courteous, and the food was fantastic. The accessible location, ample power sources, and experienced staff who knew how to guide us through the logistics made their special day run smoothly from start to finish. I would highly recommend Sleeping Lady Mountain Resort to any couple looking for a beautiful, well-equipped wedding venue with top-notch service.
