“I found Holly Anne while searching for staffing for our wedding reception at a non-traditional venue that doesn’t do many weddings. I was delighted to learn that Holly Anne coordinates multiple events businesses which meant we only had to go through one person to coordinate our wait staff, bartenders, rentals, and day-of coordination. This made things so, so much easier and we got a great discount.
**Rentals (Emporium Events Group):** Staff dropped off our tablecloths, glassware, and high-tops the day before the wedding for us to setup and picked up around 12pm on Sunday afterward. (The bar arrived and left with the bartenders.) They were on time and great with loading/unloading. The rentals were easy to box up for returns. Note that the tablecloths came folded, so prepare to spend some time steaming if creases matter to you (they didn’t to us — everything looked great).
**Staffing(Emporium Events Group):** The wait staff and bartenders were friendly and helpful all night, and smoothly made sure the alcohol and china were stowed away as directed. When we ran out of a few mixers, the bartenders were able to improvise and keep the mood up. Holly Anne & the catering staff were able to improvise food setup when our original plan didn’t work out, and it was a beautiful spread.
**DOC (Forget me Knot Productions):** Holly Anne and her team are very capable professionals. She actually went out on her own to tour our venue when we couldn’t get our times to match up and gave great advice on setup, especially for the bar area and flow in a non-traditional space that doesn’t host many weddings. She met with us for several prep calls before the day of the wedding to ask good questions and help us clarify the run-of-show. She and her assistant DOC Miriam arrived on time and immediately set to work helping direct parking & catering staff. I think the best testament to Holly Anne’s experience and attention to detail is that we neglected to develop an extensive rain plan: We said “Oh, we’ll do it in X building” and then left it at that. Well, it DID rain, but my wife and I didn’t have to spend time thinking about how to adapt — Holly Anne worked with our officiant and photographer to figure out a layout for the ceremony space, an entrance for us, and a makeshift aisle while we were getting ready. One of the great things about Holly Anne was that she knew when to act/just do something and when to consult the couple when our input was necessary (eg, how we were walking down the aisle). As with any wedding, there were logistical surprises to manage, but most of them we got wind of blissfully after the fact!
