We absolutely LOVED working with MGM for our wedding and our guests enjoyed Brian so much! They were both very prompt with their responses and professional which made our wedding planning so much easier. Thank you both for all of your help throughout the entire process and going above and beyond to make our wedding special. We will definitely recommend and keep you both in mind for future events.

She was pleasant to talk to in the beginning when we were first trying to make a decision on who to have as the bartender for the wedding. We really wanted to like her considering they came highly reviewed from our catering company, but we had a lot of issues with MGM right from the beginning. We asked to have a sangria trial of her drinks and paid her 50 for this trial. She gave us the drinks in old Sprite bottles, and the sangria drinks she made were not very good. We ended up switching to select cocktails later on. She did not have her own glassware and had planned to rent it but it seemed she didnt look into it until close to the wedding. The price had gone up much more for the rental and she suggested using plastic cups at one point. We ended up renting from our catering vendor last minute but still had to pay triple the cost of what we expected. On the day of the wedding, I was told by our guests that she was rude and the drinks were not good. I believe she was upset because she didn't receive many tips. I also asked that she provide a cocktail menu at the bar and that we limit the bar to only select cocktails because we didn't have faith in her capability, and she did not limit the drinks like we asked or provide a cocktail menu like she said she would. Even though we followed her recommendation for the number of glassware we would need, at the end of the night people ended up drinking from plastic cups, even after we mentioned we didnt want any plastic used. Overall very disappointed:(

Diana, I generally like constructive feedback from clients but unfortunately most of your review is patently false. I will address is by line item: A: Yes I did bring your sangria trial in disposable bottles. I brought you full liters of three sangrias. When you wanted to try another I made another full liter and drove it to your side of town. I realize you don't have a service background but prebatched sangria goes in the bottles you used to make it... B: The bartending companies do not stock glassware. It is handled through a rental company. You can ask anyone in the industry, prices have doubled and tripled across the board...that is no fault of mine. I handled the glassware as a courtesy to you, despite not being the bar that handles rentals traditionally. I arranged for the caterer to give you glassware at $.50 a stem which is drastically lower than market value. It was not close to triple what I quoted you. I am happy to provide you with the quote to review. You added on glassware that was not on the original quote and then seemed shocked when the price went up. That again was no fault of mine and again I utilized my personal relationship with the caterer to get you a deal that no one on the planet has ever gotten on glassware. C: I don't even know where to start here. I am not rude to anyone, ever. It is not who I am. This is blatantly and frivolously untrue. Furthermore, I have been bartending for 23 years and I have a MS in biochemistry. I not only make drinks that taste good, I understand the science behind it. There were zero complaints about the beverages. I provided a full bar including your specialty choices...all of which were well-crafted. D: As the owner I do not take a portion of the tips; Raquel received every penny from your event. Even if I made zero dollars I would never ever be rude to the clientele. E: We had a drink menu printed and placed on the bar, the frame shattered when someone bumped up against the bar so it was removed. F: There was ample glassware. My quote was spot on. The glassware left when the caterer left. The plastic cups that you saw were from the water station. I only served TWO cocktails the entire evening in plastic, once the glassware was taken away....and the irony about that is that, as a courtesy I served them after last call to your wedding party because the speeches went over time. G: I was at your venue FOUR hours before your event, loading everything in for the evening. I worked incredibly hard on the planning and execution of this event and it was textbook as far as events go. I just want to again emphasize that I am not now, nor have I ever been rude to a guest. This is my livelihood and I am great at what I do. I do not appreciate the frivolous misrepresentation of your event. Ordinarily I would thank you for your feedback, but seeing as this is fraught with inaccuracy and blatant lies, I cannot in good faith do that. I wish you the best in your new marriage. Marie G. I have worked with MGM a number of times. The bartenders are not only experienced and create quality beverages, the service matches the high standard owner Marie expects from her staff. I would recommend using their service if you are looking for a reasonably priced, quality-driven beverage service with the ability to upgrade to unique experiences that Marie and MGM offers.
