Helios Jazz Orchestra

The Helios Jazz Orchestra is an 19-piece modern jazz big band that plays swing, bebop, Latin jazz & funk. We have interesting themed programs including a spy music show and a Sinatra tribute. We perform with a variety of great local and national singers. If you want a smaller big band, we also offer the 9-piece Helios Swingtet.

The Helios Jazz Orchestra rehearses on a regular basis to be a top-notch ensemble unlike many other groups that are thrown together for services. All of our musicians are excellent jazz artists who are reliable. The Helios Jazz Orchestra has performed at the Clearwater Jazz Holiday, Palladium Theater, Ybor Jazz Festival, WMNF Jazz Jam, the Salvador Dali Museum, Tampa Museum of Art, St. Petersburg Jazz Festival and other events.
