Zaira Flores Marin, Bilingual Ceremony Officiant
Rating: 5.0 (1 review)
  • Offers 10 ceremony types
  • Starts at $200
  • Serves Prineville, OR

I’m passionate about working with diverse and interfaith couples who want their ceremonies to reflect who they are in full color. Love is not one-size-fits-all, and neither should be the moment you say “I do.” I collaborate to ensure your ceremony feels personal, flexible, and true to your hearts. Every ceremony I craft is designed to make couples feel seen, celebrated, and supported. Some include bilingual vows, English, Spanish, or Spanglish, so family feels included. Others honor traditions like arras, lazo, or unity candles. Still others create new rituals unique to their story. Let’s create a ceremony that reflects your unique love.

Choosing Zaira as our wedding officiant was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day. From our very first conversation, she made us feel comfortable and supported. She was professional, thoughtful, informative, and always willing to answer our questions and guide us through every step of the process. Our bilingual ceremony was everything we hoped for and more. She made both languages flow so naturally, making everyone feel included and connected. Her warmth, kindness, and genuine positive energy made the ceremony feel so personal and full of love. After the wedding, so many of our family and friends told us how beautiful the ceremony was and how much they loved Zaira. They kept mentioning her positive vibes, how engaging she was, and how she made the ceremony feel heartfelt and memorable. We're so thankful that Zaira was such an important part of our special day. She helped create one of our favorite memories, and we truly couldn't imagine anyone else marrying us. We wholeheartedly recommend her to any couple looking for an officiant who genuinely cares and brings so much love and joy to your wedding.

EC Matrimony
Rating: 5.0 (34 reviews)
  • Offers 10 ceremony types
  • Starts at $150
  • Serves Prineville, OR for additional fees

A Portland native, and founder of EC Matrimony, Ernie has become an expert in all things weddings. Having recently stepped away from a career in Marketing/Public Relations, Ernie has taken his business from part-time to full-time in 2021 to help more couples realize their wedding dreams. Throughout his 18 years in the industry, and having performed over 3,000 weddings, it’s easy to see why he’s been featured in bridal magazines, national IG posts, and been featured in Huffington Post twice, and on realty TV. Add to that the dozens of national awards he’s won over the years, and you can tell why he’s in demand as a wedding officiant.

From the moment my husband and I met Ernie from EC Matrimony, we were impressed by his honest, confident and professional communication style. On the day of our wedding, Ernie's heartfelt, on point and trustworthy approach made the ceremony feel tailored just for us. Despite my lack of preparation, Ernie seamlessly guided us through the wedding, ensuring it was special, humble and full of love. The wedding wouldn't have come together without Ernie's thoughtful contributions, and we are already planning to have him officiate when we renew our vows in the future.

Anthony is a licensed attorney who started officiating weddings in Oregon as a Judge (hence our company’s former name, The Wedding Judge). Matrimony Northwest has expanded in the 15 years since Anthony officiated his first wedding and has added two additional officiants—Emily and Henry. The three of them have officiated thousands of weddings in the Pacific Northwest in all different types of venues - back yards, courtrooms, coffee shops, beaches, mountain vistas, and more. Anthony is only the second person to have officiated a wedding in the Oregon State Capitol Building, and the only person to do so in modern times.

Let me start by saying I was completely unprepared for my own wedding! I was several hours late because I nearly fainted and couldn't walk. We almost had to cancel after the ceremony had already been delayed for hours. My parents were literally holding me up so I wouldn't collapse, and after convincing the venue owner and wedding planner that I still wanted to get married, a golf cart was brought in to get me to the aisle! At the top of the stairs my parents immediately started bickering, and my dad finally said, "Just grab her other hand, I can't get her down the aisle by myself!" I couldn't help but laugh. Looking back, I must have looked like I'd had one wild bachelorette party the night before! I was pale, wobbly, and clumsy. My veil was even pulled right out of my hair on the way down the aisle, and all I could do was laugh and say, "Oops! Oh well!" The moment I reached the altar and took my husband's hands, everything else faded away. It was the most magical moment of my life. Anthony was our officiant, and despite my late email replies, endless questions, and all of my chaotic ideas, he handled everything with kindness, patience, and professionalism. He created a beautiful ceremony that included both a handfasting and Las Arras (the Hispanic tradition of 13 wedding coins), honoring both my husband's Irish heritage and my Hispanic heritage. He also blended Spanish and English beautifully throughout the ceremony without simply repeating everything twice. It felt natural, meaningful, and welcoming for everyone. After the ceremony he stayed for dinner and cake, and we even got to chat afterward. Then came the cake cutting...which quickly turned into cake demolition because I had no idea how to cut a three-tier cake! I finally looked at everyone and joked, "Well...I guess we only have three slices of cake!" Everyone burst into laughter. Also when I mean demolished, I mean the cake looked like a sugar crazied army of toddlers got ahold of it! If you're looking for an officiant who is thoughtful, flexible, rolls with the punches, handles chaos well, genuinely caring, and able to make your ceremony feel completely personal, Anthony is your person. He took every crazy idea I had and made our wedding unforgettable. I truly cannot recommend him enough!!! Thank you, Anthony, for giving us the perfect ceremony despite all the chaos surrounding it! I wouldn't have had it any other way!! I attached some of our wedding photos below :)
