We offer an outdoor ceremony area right Infront of a beautiful, peaceful lake. We have a beautiful bridal suite where the bridal party and kick back and relax for the day. Our groom's room is located just across the street at our hotel. Couples are able to block off rooms at our onsite hotel for their wedding. We pride ourselves on working hard with our couples to make sure everything is how they envisioned it. We want our couples to be as stress free as possible and because of this we only host one wedding a weekend. Our couples would have access to the venue the day before for ceremony rehearsal and to set up any decor. The Haight is a wedding and event venue located in Elgin, IL and is enveloped by a historic neighborhood, for a romantic and storied setting for your wedding. This converted warehouse was originally constructed in the 1890s. It began as the Elgin Storage & Transfer Company. Over the years numerous companies used the building until 1985 when it was bought by John Haight, who refurbished the building. The Haight features two floors and a rooftop area. Brick walls and hardwood flooring accent exposed ductwork. There are multiple spaces for hosting your ceremony, reception, and many other wedding-related gatherings. On the first floor, there is room for up to 175 guests standing. This makes the 2,000-square-foot space ideal for the cocktail reception. The second floor features 7,000 square feet of space. 250 people seated or 200 people seated with a dance floor can fit in this event area.
