“I was initially very skeptical of online flower rental companies, but we are SO THRILLED and grateful for using SBB. Something Borrowed Blooms proved to be responsive and solution-focused, addressing every question we had with speed and clarity. As a summer wedding on Cape Cod we met with some traditional florists and initially received a quote of 7k for real florals! SBB worked with us to create the same stunning look using their silk blooms for just 2k, saving us thousands of dollars without sacrificing beauty and quality! The quality blew us away; our guests were genuinely shocked to learn the flowers weren't real when we told them! The Charlotte Collection was the perfect fit for our vision, and the blooms arrived early in incredible condition. We also used the Mostest package add on for day of coordination and handling the boxes and set up of the flowers. We honestly didn't have to worry about a thing from start to finish, and their easy return process gave us complete peace of mind. Something Borrowed Blooms is a game-changer if you want gorgeous florals that won't drain your budget!!”

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers
Rating: 4.9 (104 reviews)
  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Portola, CA

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

“We used the “Full Monty” package for our wedding and DIY-ed all our florals. Our florist, Hattie, did a great job listening to our vision and responded to all of our questions quickly! We explored options together, and she was able to help us get so much more than we would have with a florist and with the exact color palette we were looking at. Neither of us are great at design/DIY, but we felt very supported by the plethora of tutorials, recipes, and videos to create our flowers. With our florals, we made 6 pillar arrangements, 2 bridal bouquets, 8 bridesmaid bouquets, 3 corsages, a boutonniere, 2 medium centerpieces, and close to 100 bud vases. My maid of honor made my bridal bouquet, which made it even more special than it would have if a florist had made it. The flowers arrived at our AirBnb without any issues, and we lost barely any florals! I will say if DIY-ing flowers, whether with Flower Moxie or not, make sure you have people to help - especially with getting the florals out of the wrapping, in buckets, and cutting stems. We had our crews help, and it still looked overwhelming at first, so I can see how it can be stressful. We had our day-of-coordinator set everything up florals-wise on our wedding day, and everything looked GORGEOUS. If you have the people to help and are looking for more florals for less money, we would definitely recommend DIY-ing with flower moxie”

The team at The Faux Bouquets was highly detail-oriented, crafting extraordinary, beautiful floral arrangements that perfectly complemented our wedding day. Having a first look allowed me to see the flowers ahead of time and make any small tweaks I wanted. “We are so grateful to have worked with Johannah of Vita Fiori for our wedding! From start to finish, she made the process so easy and stress-free. “We hired Paula and Samantha pretty down to the wire of our wedding, but they immediately jumped in! We contacted them on Friday, and they had our proposal ready by Monday! Our flowers fit our vibe perfectly: I wanted something to pull from the venue's brick, but not look too "autumny" for our January wedding, and they nailed it! They look and feel like "regular" flowers, but they'll last forever and have so far held up perfectly! We're gifting a number of our pieces to our mothers and grandmothers as keepsakes from our amazing day, while saving the rest to display around our house! We're so happy to have such beautiful mementoes to remember it by!”

I've made it my mission to hunt these jokers down, wrangle them together, and to serve to you dead off the proverbial platter. In these post-apocalyptic times, the zombie flowers make for excellent mantle trophies, but some have said they make awesome wedding bouquets. Hey there! I’m Lauren, your new flower bestie. I am an artistic soul who appreciates every flower and every season. I believe in coming alongside you to bring your floral vision to life in a purposeful, detail oriented way.

“Lauren was incredible. I had hired a different florist who had to cancel about 2 months before my wedding. Lauren had been recommended to me by the baker for our cake and she was able. Immediately it was clear that floral designs are her gift. She created a floral vision board for my wedding based on the emails I had sent her describing my personal style and flower preferences, and also with photo examples of flowers I loved. The vision board was perfectly me, to a T. My bridal bouquet was so beautiful and smelled amazing. I carried it around with me all weekend and made room for it in my overpacked luggage to bring home so I could press the flowers! My friends also loved their bouquets, my mother LOVED her gold band corsage, and the boutonnières for the guys were the perfect compliments to everything else! She was so very sweet and accommodating, when I expressed concern for costs she very kindly worked with me to find a budget and also give me amazing florals. She even worked with my reception venue to add flowers to an Ivy wall which turned out AMAZING. My flowers were one of my most favorite pets of my wedding! I cannot recommend Lauren enough - I promise you’ll be so happy you hired Paisley’s!!”

Flowers by Heather
Rating: 5.0 (23 reviews)
  • Starts at $2,000
  • Serves Portola, CA for additional fees

After serving the Bay Area for years, I've moved to Lincoln and looking forward to serving our new community. A little about me: Always lived in the country raising cattle and horses. Grew up learning from mother about all things florals. Worked in vet med for years while also doing wedding flowers with my mother. Now that my husband and I have moved to Lincoln I decided to start my floral business full time.

Awarded Best of Zola
“From my very first conversation with Heather, I knew she was the right fit—not only because she fit our budget, but because of how kind and easy she was to work with. From the start, she was incredibly patient with me since I wasn't really sure what I wanted when it came to the overall theme and florals. She helped brainstorm ideas and made sure we stayed within budget while still getting the look we wanted. As we got closer to the wedding and finalized the details, Heather was very flexible and worked with all of our ideas. She really took our vision and brought it to life in a way that exceeded our expectations. We were a little nervous because the floral style we wanted didn't seem like something she typically does, and not seeing the final arrangements until the wedding day can definitely be nerve-racking. But when my husband and I saw everything, we were completely blown away. The florals were absolutely beautiful and honestly better than we could have imagined. It showed us how much Heather truly cares about her clients and making their vision come to life. She was able to adapt to exactly what we were looking for and executed it perfectly. We have nothing but great things to say about Heather and her work. If you're looking for someone who is talented, flexible, and genuinely cares about making your wedding day special, we highly recommend her!”

“Easy Wedding Flowers was great to work with for our wedding. We feel so lucky to have found Emily! She was very down to earth and easy to talk to, which made the process of planning our floral arrangements stress-free. The quality of their work was truly beautiful - our wedding arbor, centerpieces, bouquet, aisle flowers.. (everything!) created was so special and fun. Emily went above and beyond - especially when our marigold garlands were unexpectedly delayed through no fault of her own. These were a major piece of our wedding so her and her husband went to the post office on a Sunday, found a postal worker and convinced him to track down the package in the facility . Everything was exactly what we wanted, and we couldn't be happier with how the florals turned out on our big day.”
