Podesta Botanica brings together a family history in flowers and a genuine love for creating beautiful spaces. Joey grew up in the floral world through his family’s iconic San Francisco flower shop, Podesta Baldocchi, while Alyssa brings nearly a decade of experience in luxury wine, hospitality and events, along with a lifelong love and passion for flowers and plants. As a husband-and-wife team, we love bringing all of those worlds together. From wedding and event florals to décor and installations, plant styling and in-home plant consultations, we create thoughtful, beautiful spaces that feel personal to the people enjoying them.

What sets Podesta Botanica apart is the combination of floral heritage, luxury hospitality, event experience, and hands-on craftsmanship we bring to every celebration. As a husband-and-wife team with roots in San Francisco’s iconic Podesta Baldocchi flower shop, we approach florals as more than décor—we think about the entire space and how it feels to the people experiencing it. Every event is personal, thoughtfully designed, and created specifically for you. Our goal isn’t simply to make something beautiful, but to create a setting that feels unmistakably yours.

Absolutely the Best!!
Just an overall amazing experience! The Podesta Botanica team was genuinely passionate about bringing our vision to life and worked tirelessly with us throughout the planning process. When we ran into sourcing challenges, they found thoughtful alternatives that enhanced our original idea. They even made additional last-minute trips to ensure we had everything we needed. Communication was always prompt, thorough, and professional. What really set them apart was how calm and reassuring they made us feel—I even watched them work and they were so sweet and respectful in how they collaborated together and communicated. They had answers to every question and solutions to every bump in the road. Their knowledge and flexibility gave us confidence at each step, and arranging our flowers was something fun, not stressful. We'd 1,000% use Podesta Botanica again for any occasion requiring flowers and decorations and highly recommend their services!

Beautiful arrangements
Working with Podesta Botanica was such a great experience from start to finish. The team responded to our questions right away and made the whole process feel easy and stress-free. We were blown away by how beautiful they were – every detail was perfect. The staff went above and beyond to help us, staying kind and patient throughout our planning. We felt so taken care of and our guests couldn't stop talking about the arrangements.
