Tami is the wedding officiant behind The Sacred Knot, based in Dorris, California. She is excited to be a part of your big day and is happy to travel throughout Northern California and Oregon to officiate for the beginning of this new chapter in your life. If you're looking for someone with experience and knowledge in Pagan Handfasting or non-religious wedding ceremonies, The Sacred Knot is just what you're looking for. Other faiths are welcome, too! Tami has been a practicing Pagan for more than 25 years and is ordained through the non-denominational Universal Life Church.

I specialize in personalized Pagan handfastings, secular ceremonies, interfaith celebrations, elopements, and more. As a member of the LGBT+ community I provide inclusive weddings for couples and polycules of all backgrounds. As a Goth, I welcome kooky, offbeat ideas. An elegant, streamlined option for those who desire a classic, heartfelt ceremony with select script choices. Handfastings are limited to three cords. Additional travel fee based on amount of miles above the included.

The Bloom

Description

My most popular plan. Includes ongoing consultations and a fully personalized ceremony script that tells your unique story.

  • Customized vows or the couple may write their own.
  • Ceremony officiating.
  • Four-hour time limit.
  • Filing legal paperwork.
  • Travel up to 100 miles.

The Ancient Oak

Description

A bespoke ceremony - one that is uniquely tailored to the couple, allowing for full personalization of every aspect. It's about creating a ceremony that reflects their individual style, beliefs, and story, rather than adhering to a standard or pre-determined format. I ensure that your event is the only thing on my calendar for that day. No interruptions or time limit. Additional travel fee based on amount of miles above the included.

  • Rehearsal.
  • Invocation at the reception.

The Wildflower (Elopement)

Description

A focused, intimate ceremony. Exclusively available in Western Siskiyou and Southern Klamath Counties. Handfastings are limited to one cord.

All ceremonies are customized. The Bloom and The Ancient Oak allow for complete customization. For the Seedling, The Wildflower, and The Everlasting Leaf, a standard vow set with some customization is provided.
The Bloom and The Ancient Oak plans allow for couples and polycules to write their own vows. I am happy to provide guidance if needed.
