I had a vision in my head of what I wanted our photos and video to look like, but honestly this was BETTER than I even dreamed. Everything is so crisp, so full of life. I laughed so hard at the silly reception moments they caught, and I cried at the vows all over again. The video felt like a love story but real, not cheesy. They were so patient with us and our families, and we never once felt rushed. Even my husband, who hates photos, said they made him feel comfortable. The lighting, the angles, everything just looked perfect but natural. I’m going to be watching this video forever, I just know it. This is honestly the best part of our wedding we could have invested in.

Every image feels warm and full of personality; you can sense the people inside the frames. The video we got includes candid laughter that makes me chuckle every time. The photographers were great with spontaneous moments and with structured portraits alike. They saw gestures and little glances that made images feel intimate. The editing style is clean and durable for future tastes. They helped us prioritize must-have family shots which was super helpful. Their customer service after delivery was attentive and helpful with print ordering. My parents have them bookmarked for future family portraits. I’m so pleased with how approachable and talented they were.

Hi, I’m Isaac. In my world, light is everything. The cool ambient hues at dawn, hinting at what the day may bring. Golden sun rays catching particles through a tree as friends gathers to celebrate. A Cotton candy sunset peppered by patio string-lights as a DJ plays my favorite song. We all have timeless memories logged in our minds. For me, they are based in a language of light. As a wedding photographer, this deep connection to special lighting helps me produce dynamic visual stories of romance, personality and beauty.

Awarded Best of Zola
From the moment we met Isaac, we knew we were in the best hands. He has an incredibly calming presence and a natural way of making you feel comfortable, which meant we were able to be fully present on our wedding day. Our Sonoma farm wedding unfolded with a gorgeous outdoor ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner reception, followed by music and festivities in the barn. Isaac captured every moment with such artistry and intention. The images feel effortless yet elevated as every frame tells a story, from quiet, emotional moments to the joy and movement of our guests celebrating into the night. The photographs from our first dance in the barn truly took our breath away. The way Isaac used the natural light, textures of the wood, and atmosphere of the space made the images feel cinematic and timeless. Working with Isaac was seamless, professional, thoughtful, and genuinely joyful. Looking through our gallery feels like reliving the day exactly as it felt. The images are beautiful, emotional, and full of life. We are endlessly grateful for his vision and would recommend him without hesitation to anyone dreaming of a wedding that feels both authentic and artfully captured.

DOCUMENTARY WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER IN ARIZONA, USA, MEXICO, & EUROPE I've always been drawn to people who do things their own way. The ones who bring color, personality, and don’t fit neatly into a box. From weddings to family sessions and events of all kinds, I create bold, true to color images that capture the romance, the chaos, and everything that made your day feel like yours. What matters most to me is helping you feel comfortable enough to let go a little, be fully yourself, and actually enjoy what’s happening while I document it.

Awarded Best of Zola
From our first conversation, Ann at NorAnna Photo made planning our wedding day feel easy and stress-free. She communicated clearly about what to expect and showed genuine flexibility when we needed to adjust our timeline. On the day of our wedding, Ann and her team were everywhere—keeping things on track while making sure nobody felt rushed or anxious. What really stood out was how she kept our guests laughing and comfortable throughout the day, which made capturing authentic moments feel natural. The initial photos we've seen are gorgeous and show her talent for finding those warm, genuine shots that tell our story. Honestly, it felt like Ann was meant to be our photographer, and everyone who worked with her that day felt the same way.

I’ve been doing photography since 2012. There has definitely been a lot of growth and sold cameras through out the years. I’m 100% self taught and I believe that shows in my work. I’m a learn by doing type person. I’m an introvert and somewhat reserved, but I can guarantee I will make some stupid joke that will make you laugh. I enjoy natural light and playing with the sun. I’m a big fan of the unconventional photos that most photographers say no to. I love love. It doesn’t matter who you are, who you love, I want to tell your love story.

Cece and her husband Ben from Ringuette Photo Co. were truly wonderful to work with! She was so communicative and was always available to answer any questions. They suggested the most perfect place to take my bridals and the photos turned out AMAZING! We had a blast with them and can't wait to see our wedding day photos!

Hi, I’m Hannah. I’m a lover of art, stories, and spark—the perfect alchemy to creating and capturing all those memory-making, magical moments. Weddings, to me, are about your unique narrative, your origin stories and your threads of connection; the ways in which you’ve woven a love through a tapestry of compassion and inspiration and all that makes you you— both as individuals and as a couple. That’s the fabric of the photo, the material I like to work with; because of this, my photos lean atmospheric and candid.

Awarded Best of Zola
Working with Hannah was so easy, and the photos from our wedding were exactly what I wanted. I really wanted to maximize the amount of time I spent enjoying my wedding and guests, and Hannah's style was perfect for this – we got our posed portraits done quickly, and the rest of the time she was able to capture what was actually taking place at the wedding. In terms of pre-wedding prep, we met once before I signed the contract and then again about a month before the wedding to nail down details. Hannah was very communicative throughout the whole process, and she turned around 25 beautiful pictures within a week of the wedding for us to share around. I just got 200 more pictures back, and they are stunning. Hannah is such a talent, and I highly recommend her.

Eli Holmes Photo + Film
Rating: 1.8 (5 reviews)
  • Editorial style
  • Starts at $5,500
  • Serves Port Sulphur, LA

Film brought art back to photography — having control over the film stock, using particular cameras for different reasons, doing double exposures with film blindly, souping film and customizing the development process to the wedding, and so much more. And through film, I embrace the imperfections of weddings — following along with your flow of the day and natural interactions of your friends and family. Capturing your wedding story as it happens is always the priority and focus.

We were going to go with an off island photographer when we came across Eli and their work. Their knowledge of the island, how the wind blows differently on different sides of our venue, how the light hits perfectly on this side of the venue and we can still get an ocean view — that they care about the power lines and know how to avoid cars in the back of ceremony images. The list just went on and on and on. Working with Eli was like working with a walking encyclopedia of Block Island. And when you're getting married on the island, it's such an asset. Eli helped walk us through other on island vendors, best spots for our engagement sessions, different hotels that might suite certain guests better than others, an amazing casual rehearsal dinner/welcome party idea that was flawless, and I just couldn't be happier. When we got the images though, I didn't know what to say. Eli had captured so much of our story, we felt the same jitters getting ready to walk down the aisle looking through images of moments we didn't. get to experience on our wedding day (we were a little busy, getting married, and you just can't witness everything). Eli was so great with our friends and family, able to choral a few of my drunk groomsmen, while simultaneously making my antsy family members just super at ease and happy. I couldn't be happier in working with Eli and can't wait to see them in future years when we visit.

She captured the exact look and feel we were going for for our save the dates, and the minute we got our sneak peek i was thrilled! We are passionate about photographing kind-hearted people who are unapologetically themselves, and creating a safe and beautiful space in the wedding world for LGBTQ+ folx. Our favorite people to work with believe in giving back to their communities, that black lives always matter, that climate change is you know...real, and choose to embrace their own unique quirks and talents.

When you elope in the middle of a pandemic, it matters all the more that you love your photographer--since they'll be the only other person at your wedding. :) And in short, we couldn't be happier that ours was Shawnee. She has such a gift and a love for the work she does—and it shows. We knew she was the right person from the moment we met on Zoom--she is warm and kind, asked all the right questions, and instantly put us at ease. My partner and I eloped at the end of October 2020 in DC, just before the election. It was a whirlwind moment for so many reasons, especially as a queer couple. And it mattered to us that the person who captured those treasured memories, really understood what that moment meant to us. Everyone who sees our photos marvels at how wonderful they are—and no doubt we look great, but Shawnee’s warmth and direction and stellar eye really made all the difference. Vibing with your photographer matters—we’re so grateful to have found one with such grace and as much love for her art as Shawnee. <3
