Aaron Hogan has been listening, looking, and loving his entire life, and took to photography professionally in 2006 to express that gift to a growing list of clients, whose sessions have taken him across the US and internationally in pursuit of the perfect image. He loves nothing more than to spend time with the people he will photograph, laugh with them, listen to their goals, and design a photographic story that captures them perfectly at that moment in time.

At Eye Wander, it's not just me and my camera. I have an ever-growing full-time talented team of 7 employees, ranging from photographers, videographers, editors & designers, photo booth attendants, incredible office staff such as an operations manager and a front desk customer service manager, along with a sales/marketing person. This team allows me and my team of creatives to do what we do best: shoot, edit and create beautiful stories. We just built our full-service studio with a hair salon in the center of Baton Rouge.     Favorite photographer for so many reasons

    We love Eye Wander! Aaron has done an amazing job capturing all of the major milestones of our life including our wedding. He and his team are professional and are also really fun to be around. They've done our family photos as well as Christmas cards for the past few years. We are also looking forward to Eye Wander capturing our newest addition to the family in May! Can't say enough about their work!

Typically, couples book me about 10-13 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
Our retainer fee (non-refundable) is $1000, which is applied towards your balance. The final balance is due in full 30 days before the wedding date. We do charge 9.95% sales tax. We take all major credit cards.
Absolutely, we have a video team to create a cinematic film of your day from the highlights to the full ceremony. We even do a separate rehearsal dinner on request!
My turnaround time is 4 weeks from your wedding date, at which point you'll not only see your photos but also your wedding album we pre-designed if your package includes a wedding album.
You can expect about 90 to 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, how crazy your reception was, venue type, and other factors.
I do! We're totally legit and you are in safe, experienced hands. Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I also offer retouching services like blemish removal and teeth whitening for an additional charge. All images that end up in a wedding album (if you choose a package that includes an album) are retouched on a basic level.
In my 18 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.
Every single wedding, I’ll bring one associate photographers for the groom and to capture details as well as second angle during the ceremony, first dance, and cake cutting. We always provide an assistant as well whose job is to make the schedule flow smoothly and help with my equipment.
