“Ethan and JoAnna brought so much energy to our barn wedding! Not only did they have everything ready to go the second the reception began, but they JOINED us all on the dance floor and took photos in our Photo Booth. “I first saw Professor Playlist DJ (Eric) my friend's wedding and knew right away I wanted to hire him for ours. From our initial zoom call he was reliable and timely with every detail! His setup includes very nice lighting among other things which I’ve seen other DJs charge extra for and he even took the time to learn the proper pronunciation of our bridal party and guests' names. On the day of our reception, he kept the drinks flowing, checked up on us often, gave timeline advice when I was starting to feel stressed and he honored every song we requested, and somehow managed to keep the entire dance floor packed from start to finish. Not joking … I was worried about having a boring crowd and that turning into a boring reception. I can truly say people were dancing the entire time. What really blew us away was that he scheduled himself for our event knowing he'd possibly miss one of his biggest gigs of the year …senior prom, just because we asked and he didn’t want to keep us waiting on a definitive answer. His work was professional, fun, and honestly perfect!! He struck that balance between playing what we wanted while keeping all our guests happy. We'd give him 10 out of 10 and will absolutely always recommend him to any couple looking for a DJ who truly cares about making their wedding special. Thank you for everything Eric!! When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). We were so happy and thankful to have Jeff there! Sie, our videographer also did a wonderful job! We have not yet received our video as our wedding was less than 2 weeks ago, but I already know it is going to be amazing. He was so great with communication, was prompt with his timing, and he even set up a second camera for guests to break away and give us well wishes for our marriage, which I'm so excited to watch back. He was very professional and wonderful to work with. We decided to add videography at the last minute because we thought we might regret not having it, and I am SO happy we asked Jim at Direct Entertainment if they had someone available for our day just a month before, and they did!! Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. Overall, we would 1000% recommend Direct Entertainment for any wedding entertainment needs! “Overall, we had a good experience with our DJ. He arrived on time, was professional throughout the evening, and kept our guests on the dance floor for most of the night. The music flowed well, and everyone seemed to have a great time. That said, I did spend a lot of time carefully selecting songs that were meaningful to us, and I was a little disappointed that many of those selections weren't played. Some of our requested songs were included, but I had hoped more of our playlist would be incorporated into the evening. The only other issue was that, just before our grand exit, he approached us to mention that he hadn't received enough food. We had paid for a vendor meal for him, so I wasn't sure what had happened, and it didn't feel like the best time to bring it up while we were in the middle of such a special moment. Despite those concerns, he was friendly, punctual, and our guests clearly enjoyed themselves. If having a lively dance floor is your top priority, he does a good job creating a fun atmosphere.”

Even when our day-of coordinator dropped the ball and was missing during one of the most important parts of the reception for me, one that required timing for cutting in on the dance, Cole took over and made it go perfectly!! “DJ Gee Reed is simply the BEST DJ you could hire! His price is VERY reasonable for the high-quality service he provides. Going into our wedding, I honestly expected the dance floor to have a few people trickling on and off throughout the night. We had mostly young kids and an older crowd, so I really didn’t expect a huge dance party. Boy, was I wrong! DJ Gee Reed had the entire room on the dance floor! Granny was busting her last good hip, and the kids went from crawling to dancing! It was absolutely INSANE—in the best possible way. He also did an amazing job with announcements, getting on the mic right on cue, and knowing exactly when to play, transition, and end songs. Everything flowed so smoothly, and you could tell he truly knew what he was doing. But beyond being an incredible DJ, DJ Gee Reed has a heart of gold. My father-in-law has Parkinson’s, and during the reception, he lost ahold of his trousers. Without hesitation, Gee stepped in, tried to shield him from the crowd, and helped him through the situation. You absolutely didn’t have to do that, but you did—and I cannot thank you enough for showing that kind of compassion and kindness. I genuinely don’t have a single complaint about this man. He went above and beyond to make our wedding unforgettable, and I would recommend him to ANYONE looking for a DJ. DJ Gee Reed was phenomenal, and he will do the same for your wedding. Hire this man—you will NOT regret it!️”

“Don was the perfect DJ! Prior to the event, he scheduled multiple calls to meet us & understand exactly what we were looking for. He has an online portal where we could input our requested songs for key events (i.e. ceremony, cake cutting, etc.), & this portal also had a section for you to identify the songs you really love & songs you like. The day of the wedding, he executed perfectly. He helped keep the reception flowing seamlessly, interacted with guests, & most importantly was able to keep the dance floor going all night. We got so many compliments from our guests saying how wonderful he was & how much fun they had thanks to him. We can't recommend him enough!”
