Her careful attention to detail and genuine care for me as a potential client impressed me. Throughout the process, Yoli, the bridal coordinator, responded to all of my questions promptly and cheerfully. Marielly and Janelle made me feel so comfortable and confident at my trial and were open and responsive to feedback and follow-up questions I had about my own look as well as questions my girls wanted to ask. On my wedding day, my bridesmaids, mom, and I got ready at the pink salon. The space is bright, airy, and full of cute spots for photos. Marielly and Janelle gave each of my girls the same VIP treatment they gave me at my trial and they kept us on time to ensure the rest of the day went smoothly. My group ranged widely in terms of needs (we had hair that was curly, straight, thick, and thin and girls who ranged from wearing little to no makeup regularly to girls who regularly go full glam and wanted bright and colorful looks), and each girl ended up with a look that was perfect for them! Our hair and makeup lasted all night long! While the final product was impressive, what stands out the most to me about working with The Stately Rose was how they made me feel. Every question or concern I had was treated as important (no matter how small) in the lead-up to the day. In the salon, Marielly and Janelle created a positive, fun, relaxed, and empowering environment. They were the ultimate hype-women all morning and they really set the tone for the day moving forward. It was especially meaningful to me how much care our team took in accommodating health and safety concerns among my party; requests we made to keep those with compromised immune systems or allergies comfortable and safe were made without hesitation. We all left the salon to start the rest of the busy and stressful day feeling like our best selves. I was looking for a hair and makeup artist that had the skill you would get for editorial, but still was able to work with me to make sure I looked like an elevated, bridal version of myself, and Danny was it! He is such a kind and warm person, was so communicative throughout the entire process, and really helped me figure out what I wanted my hair and makeup to look like. The trail I did with him and Lia before my wedding day was basically almost perfect to begin with, despite the fact that I came in with a vague idea of what I wanted and a couple of inspo photos that I struggled to explain. On the wedding day, Danny and Lia came to our hotel room and were incredibly fast and professional, in addition to doing an absolutely amazing job and working with very different hair and makeup styles between the bridal party. She also saved the day when I got a floral piece for my mother that had a white ribbon that needed to be concealed and Erica masterfully covered it up so that mom did end up wearing it on the day. My girls loved their hair and makeup too. The artists did fantastic with mature skin. And guests were stunned with how gorgeous everyone looked. I know a thing or two about makeup and Jessica is very much in the know about certain products, techniques, and trendy looks. From hydrogrip primers to ABH palettes, she knows her stuff. Also, one of my bridesmaids is a hair dresser and she was also very impressed. In fact, one bridesmaid had really short hair and Marissa nailed it somehow! Working with the length and creating a gorgeous look. She also pulled out that Fenty bronzer because she ain’t playinnn. I was assigned Andi as a make up artist and Jordan as a hair stylist. I had my trial with Andi, and she did a fantastic job. She listened to what I truly wanted and was very adaptable when I requested small tweaks. She kept track of all the products she used and all of my requests really well because she replicated the look perfectly 9 months later on my wedding day. While I had a lifelong friend do my own hair for my wedding, Jordan did hair for my 4 bridesmaids, my mother, and my mother-in-law. All of their styles came out beautiful and lasted the whole night (my sister even wore her look to brunch the next day and it still looked amazing)! During the planning process, Marissa was extremely helpful in coordinating timelines and pricing. I loved that the artists were able to come on site to the hotel where we got ready and they even brought their own chairs for us to use. “Writing reviews was the last things I had on my big ol wedding to-do list. I mostly put it off because I truly did not know how to put into words how perfect most of my vendors were. Jessica was no short of perfection. She was incredibly easy to schedule with, chat with about what I wanted, and offered up advice on all things beauty. Her package deal is incredible, her pre wedding face kit is amazing, her touch up kit is still use to this day, and her own facial products are some of my faves. I didn’t have “mini facial” on my wedding morning timeline but omfg I would tell every bride it’s absolutely necessary. During my trial (at her adorable home studio!) we went in a traditional direction and 5 months later I asked her to pivot entirely and go foundation-less. I’d seen it on her Instagram page and was so impressed and oh man did she pull it off. I felt so natural (I’m not someone who usually wears anything but moisturizer and mascara) and to not have to wear foundation on my wedding day was such a relief. I felt so incredibly beautiful on my wedding day - and so did my bridesmaids. Jessica is worth. Every. Penny. “Working with Marija for my wedding planning, décor, and makeup was one of the best decisions I made for my entire wedding. From the very beginning, she made the process so easy and enjoyable. She was friendly, professional, and extremely organized, and from our first meeting I could tell she genuinely cared about bringing my vision to life. My total budget was 5,000, which I knew wasn’t a huge amount for a wedding. I’d spoken with a few planners before who made me feel like it wasn’t possible to do much with that, so I was prepared to have to compromise on a lot of things. But from the first moment I spoke with Marija, she made me feel completely at ease. She never once made me feel limited by my budget — instead, she got creative, worked around what I could afford, and found ways to make everything look far more luxurious than I thought possible. Marija also did my bridal makeup, and I can’t even begin to explain how happy I was with it. She made me look and feel like the best version of myself. The makeup was flawless and natural, lasted all day and night, and looked amazing in photos. She took her time to make sure I was completely happy before we started the day, and her calm, positive attitude made the morning so relaxed and enjoyable. Throughout the entire day, Marija was there making sure everything ran smoothly. She managed the timing perfectly, kept everything on schedule, and handled all the little details so that I didn’t have to worry about a thing. Because of her, I was able to just enjoy my wedding and take it all in — something I’m so grateful for. I honestly received far more than I expected for my budget.
