I first entered the floral design world as an intern in 2016 and noticed a lack of originality in designs and a need for more connection between the florist and the couple. When I started WFD in 2019, I decided to prioritize both artistic designs and building long-term relationships with each couple. Planning my own wedding in 2021 gave me an even deeper appreciation for the importance of receiving creative expertise and genuine support from wedding vendors.

“From the moment I said yes, I knew florals would be the highlight of decor for our wedding day. Flowers hold such sentimental value for me because I’d spend my springs planting hundreds of annuals with my baba: zinnias, dahlias, snapdragons, marigolds, begonias, etc. Going to my grandparents house was like going to a magical flower garden, and I wanted to recreate that feeling for our guests. After seeing Misha’s previous floral designs, I knew she would be able to bring what I had in mind to life; she did that and then some. The florals she lined my aisle with were exactly what I pictured: lush, whimsical, fun and filled with purples, oranges and greens. Those florals were then repurposed as centerpieces in the main reception tent and somehow became even more mystical underneath that lighting. On our way to the tent, we were amazed at the flowers on the seating chart wall. Dahlias and snapdragons, two of my absolute favorites… in colors that left me feeling the moody, romantic vibe I wanted and had described in design meetings with Misha leading up to the day. The flowers that adorned the tent’s entrance and up the poles created the most magical atmosphere. Sitting at our sweetheart table, we were surrounded by more florals that were repurposed from the ceremony; this time I believe from the gazebo, one of the most sentimental pieces of the day. Our reception tent really felt like a magical flower garden filled with our favorite people; exactly what we wanted for our wedding day.”

“Working with Jen for our October 2025 wedding was AMAZING!! From the moment we sent in an online inquiry, Jen was attentive, responsive, thoughtful, and incredibly detail oriented. She got us set up with a project planning doc immediately, and she was SO patient with us even when we were annoyingly indecisive about our vision lol. She met with us via Zoom to answer all of our questions when we were struggling to finish the document (and she is just as thorough and helpful via Zoom as she is via email). Once we placed our final order, Jen was communicative and thorough about the process of what happened next in terms of pickup, payment, etc. When we picked up our flowers, we were ASTOUNDED by how beautiful they were. I mean, we knew they would be beautiful, but truly, WOW. Aside from bouquets & boutonnieres, we also got garlands to use as centerpieces for our guests’ farmhouse tables, as well as small wooden circle magnets with a flower on top (we wood burned the j c into them ourselves) to use as favors. And they all looked incredible. An employee at our venue said that our decor was “the best she’s ever seen this place look,” and a large part of our decor was these flowers. “The flowers (on our order) came in large boxes, but they were not labeled, so it took a minute to get the flowers both identified and properly set up. To be fair we were warned about the process, but not about the length of time due to our inexperience. As a note, it took my fiancé 5 hours to process the flowers when first receiving them. I also did not have any updates from them from the time I ordered till they were being shipped. They were beyond more affordable compared to other florists, and the flowers arrived alive and in good spirits. We were able to keep the flowers alive for over four days!! Many of the flowers that we chose did not have specific instructions, so we had to follow the general reference for the flowers and hope for the best. Additionally, some of the flowers that we wanted were not in stock, and they were replaced for us with substitutes but were not notified until we had all of the flowers already delivered to us. Also, as a note, bloom culture uses third party sellers for their flowers, so the quality may vary depending on location. Our flowers were in good condition, and the company we had clearly took good care of the flowers prior to delivering them to us. Would we do it again? Probably not, but it made for good laughs and bonding time and we have stories to tell from it!”
