“I was hesitant to book anyone for our wedding photography at first — it wasn’t personal, I just felt unsure and overwhelmed by the whole process. But John Barone completely changed that. He followed up thoughtfully over email and offered to set up a call. From the moment we started talking, I felt like I was catching up with an old friend. He was clearly the most capable person I had spoken to, and by the end of the call, I was completely sold on him and his team. I had my heart set on a documentary-style photographer, and I was especially drawn to Stuart’s work. I followed his portfolio online and was continually impressed with every post. Leading up to the wedding, John was more of a help than he probably realizes. He took the reins on scheduling the entire day — something that should’ve been in my wheelhouse (I’m a planner and a project manager by day), but somehow felt incredibly daunting. John made it easy and even encouraged me to book extra time with our venue. Thank god he did. Every bit of advice he gave was spot on, from how much time we needed for getting ready, to first look, to portraits. The guy knows what he’s doing — he’s a true professional and I only wish I listened to him sooner. On the day of, Stuart and Denida were top tier. They arrived right on time, were exceptionally kind, and made both me and my husband feel completely comfortable. They worked seamlessly and quietly, doing things behind the scenes that I didn’t even notice in the moment — because they never wanted me to stress. My family and friends were absolutely obsessed with both of them. They were not only professional, but also hilarious and engaging — somehow making noises I didn’t even know were humanly possible to get the attention of my 10-month-old twin nephews! I would book this team again in a heartbeat and will recommend them to everyone I know. There was truly nothing more they could have done to make our day more perfect — because they already did it all. “You need to book Kim whether it be for an event or photoshoot because you will not be disappointed!!! I recently got married at Windham Manor and was only looking for photographers who have photographed there. I found Kim since she was one of the photographers tagged on the venue’s instagram page. Kim was very responsive from the beginning and although i was still a year and a half away from my wedding, we scheduled a zoom call and started planning immediately. The call was very productive as she helped me generate a timeline super early in the game that helped me start planning and getting everything in order with my other vendors. She also showed me photos she had already taken at the venue which were stunning and exactly what we envisioned. Come to the big day, Kim was there early to set up and was ready to go immediately. She let me know her plan along the way and made sure that we were sticking to the timeline and had no problem being able to quickly adjust to things that were not under our control. Either way, everything ran so smoothly thanks to her, including helping me button my extremely difficult dress!! She honestly acted like a friend and was there for us the entire night while also being able to capture everything we wanted. I knew the photos were going to be amazing but she totally exceeded our expectations. She sent some teasers the day after and we were completely blown away by the colors, angles, and backdrops. You can tell that she put so much time into each photo because every single one is stunning. Not to mention, she took soooo many photos and really captured everything from start to finish. “There aren’t enough words to describe the absolute icon that is Delycia. My husband and I initially reached out to her because she had photographed weddings at our original venue, and we were completely sold after looking through her portfolio. Her moody, emotional, and intimate photos were exactly what we envisioned. We are not “cookie-cutter” wedding photo people, and with every set of photos we reviewed, we found ourselves literally gasping. Our gut feeling was only reinforced once we started talking to her and getting to know her. Neither my husband nor I had ever had professional photos taken, but our engagement shoot was so much fun. It felt like hanging out with a long-time friend, coupled with Delycia’s incredible ability to give just enough direction to create stunning photos while still capturing “us.” We couldn’t stop gushing about her afterward. When we had to drastically change our venue’s location, we were worried it would be too far for her. Not to mention, she sent us first-look photos during our wedding afterparty, delivered final digital edits within a month, and had our prints ready within two months!
