Stay the weekend in our well-appointed, 3-bedroom federal-style home. Pets can stay too! Conveniently located and close to hotels in Fenton, MI. Being on private property will allow you to choose any caterer or vendor you wish to use. This allows you the freedom to decorate creatively and chose your own menu. Bring in food carts! Craft Beer Vendors! Ice Cream trucks! If you don't want to DIY, don't worry — our preferred vendors are happy to put a package together for you and take care of your every need. Lake Lucy Event Venue offers 140 acres of land with an 80 acre private lake encompassed on the property. There are many well maintained walking trails, plenty of open space and beautiful scenery. There is an option to bring the bridal party on a hay wagon, which makes for some pretty cool pictures. Both the bridal party and the grooms party can opt to get ready in a beautiful log home; usually the bridal party gets ready in the fully finished walkout basement, and the grooms party on main floor. We are located within 5 miles of Wixom, which offers many hotel options. There is currently no structures in the wedding venue area, but have started construction on a pavilion for the 2024 season. The Sycorax is equipped with a small fridge, complimentary beverages including champagne and beer, tasty snacks, and ice, as well as cups, plates, utensils, and napkins to accommodate your boat picnic. It was originally named the Players Riverboat Casino II and was built in Jennings, Louisiana in 1993. It ran as a Merv Griffin establishment for a number of years, located on the Mississippi River in Metropolis, Illinois.
