While their communication was a bit delayed leading up to the event, they were ultimately effective in executing on the day-of. The DJ kept the party going all night with a good song selection, though they did play 3 Taylor Swift songs in a row at the start, which we would have preferred more variety. The MC's ad-libs got a little overbearing at times, but overall they did a nice job sticking to the schedule and making important announcements. “We found Bluewater Kings through the preferred vendor list at our venue , and we are so glad we did. They invited us to come hear them play at a live showcase, and we were immediately sold. We booked them that same night. One of the best parts of working with them was the planning process. Their online planning portal made it so easy to update our preferences and make adjustments in the months leading up to the wedding. Molly was incredibly helpful and always quick to respond to any questions we had, which made everything feel seamless and organized. We also used their “iPad DJ” option so we could customize our cocktail hour and dinner playlists, along with a few songs during the band’s breaks. He was professional, thoughtful, and understood we wanted our dogs as involved as possible. As he was our emcee for the reception he knew how to make jokes, throw in some sarcasm, explain the shoe game to the groom with some fun quips, and just keep the mood light and fun for everyone. Wether it was introducing us for our entrance, passing the mic around for speeches, or telling everyone that dessert is out and ready to be served, no one had to guess or ask any questions because DJ Kyle was the best host we could possibly ask for.
