    Troy was amazing

    Troy was absolutely amazing. We knew he was the perfect dj for us when we first saw his sample video. When we spoke to him the Monday before our wedding just talking with him about the day made us know that we made the right choice. On the day of the wedding he was absolutely amazing making sure if we needed something he would try to make sure we were taken care of and he kept checking up on us the whole night. He absolutely killed it with the music and was able to keep the party going. We definitely recommend Troy

    Best DJ for my wedding!

    Troy was awesome to work with for our wedding! From the very beginning, his communication was outstanding - Troy was always quick to respond to my questions and concerns as a nervous bride and we felt completely at ease working with him. On the day of the wedding, Troy was a true professional setting up seamlessly and keeping the dance floor packed all night long. I will never forget the party bus pulling up to the reception and he was first to greet us!! He was also incredibly helpful in working around some in law “plans” handling it all with poise and grace. I can't recommend Platinum Energy enough! He truly elevated the atmosphere and energy of our special day. We are so grateful for their expertise and support!

    NONSTOP praise for DJ Troy!

    I have to start by saying that our friends and family enjoyed DJ Troy so much that they continually chanted his name throughout the reception. From the moment we first spoke with Troy, we knew we were in good hands. His communication was clear, comprehensive, and friendly, putting us at ease throughout the planning process. On our wedding day, he went above and beyond to be incredibly flexible with our less-than-perfect backyard dance floor setup - what a champ. He even incorporated a special cultural tradition dance we requested without advance notice (oops, thanks Troy). He brought incredible energy and thoughtfulness to introducing our loved ones and facilitating the toasts and speeches and he exemplified professionalism and kindness at EVERY turn. Platinum Energy truly helped make our special day unforgettable.

Yes. We carry insurance as required by many venues in order to perform in their buildings.
A classy, fun open format DJ with professional grade sound and lighting equipment. I blend your style with a variety of weddings favorites. As your MC, I engage your guests throughout the night, remaining approachable and down-to-earth.
Of course, as a DJ there's always new music to download. I know how to blend classic favorites with new hits!
Professional attire - black tuxedo and vest with a bow tie, or straight tie. Outdoor weddings in the summer or by your request is the exception.
Your wedding us my only wedding that day! I don't cancel or switch DJs on you after booking, leaving you worried about the outcome. I am reliable and very accessible throughout the reception planning process. My wedding knowledge, superior level of customer service, and skills as a well-spoken Master of Ceremonies will ensure your wedding to be a success!
Absolutely! I get high-fives when the guest request is a hit! After all, they know you better than I do! But, we'll discuss what's acceptable, and what's on your DO NOT PLAY list in the planning process.
Yes. I have provided mics and music for dozens of ceremonies. My DJ service is set-up BEFORE guests arrive and includes music for cocktail hour.
A minimum of 2 hours early arrival from starting time is standard with my wedding DJ services.
Yes! While I don't claim to specialize in religious or ethic music, I love a challenge and have previously integrated Bhangra, Arabic, Russian and Eastern European songs as I work with my wedding clients that celebrate these nationalities. My spiritual clients usually have had their song lists for me to add to my music collection.
Audio and video guestbook, dedicated set-up/tear down team, uplighting, 55" Video Screens and Monogram Projection are available to add on for additional fees.
My policy is that drinking while handling the responsibility of a successful outcome for you is not professional. I enjoy a drink from time-to-time too. But, not while working.
