She went completely above and beyond- when the bridal party was finishing photos outside and it started pouring, she got SOAKED while shielding my bridesmaids and making sure everyone was able to get safely from the park to the vehicles to inside the venue. She literally used herself as a shield and then proceeded to to help everyone get touch ups while they dried off- by the time the ceremony had started, no one would have had an idea that everyone had been rained on. “I first met Alicia (briefly) at a styled photo shoot. Alicia did not do my makeup during this styled shoot, but she was one of the contributing make up artists and she did an amazing job completing her assigned model’s make up within the allotted time frame. When it came time for me to select a make-up artist, I had a VERY short short-list of artists. Alicia was one of two that I contacted based on my experience with other professionals. I was highly impressed by the quick response (mere hours compared to days with no response from another). In terms of pricing, Alicia’s work was very affordable and lower than the average per person cost based on my own industry experience. I already knew I liked Alicia’s work from the styled shoot and her Instagram photo portfolio, but I was still nervous that I would lose the look of my face (aka my freckles) as I have many times before in styled shoots so I opted to add in the bridal trial. Alicia was very professional in scheduling the trial and helped me interpret my very indecisive style. I knew I wanted neutral makeup to bring out my eyes and she recommended colors and told me exactly what she was doing at each step. As I drove from my makeup trial to my hair trial, I could not keep my eyes out of the rear view looking at myself (thank god for red lights to sit at and admire myself!). On my wedding day, Alicia treated each of my bridesmaids with the same care and respect that she afforded to me during my trial. Everyone was so impressed with their makeup and I absolutely loved how I looked. I saw myself (freckles, yay!) and I felt truly stunning. She even gave me a little “touch up” kit for the rest of the day in case of oily skin and smudges which I thought was the kindest and most thoughtful way to set herself apart from the crowd of makeup artists to choose from. I highly recommend Alicia for her talent, professionalism, and value.”

As a bride, I was not local to my venue or to Tanya's location, and she took time out of her own vacation for my hair/makeup trial, which she made super fun and easy. She was super prompt communicating (fastest out of all our vendors!) and was so kind and high-energy to work with. On my wedding day her team actually got all of our bridesmaids, moms, and me done with both hair and makeup AHEAD of schedule, everyone looked incredible, and all of our looks lasted all day despite the heat. “Alba is the person you want on your team on your most important day. From the very beginning, she was extremely attentive and really worked with me to find the perfect look for my wedding. I usually don't wear much makeup, so she asked me a ton of questions about my routine and skin type, and what my preferences were, and she was able to provide a ton of suggestions and advice. We had a trial about a month before the big day and afterward I wanted to make a few changes for the day of - she didn't take anything personally, listened to what I wanted and helped me to look my best and find what was the most flattering. I had a GREAT time getting ready, Alba is kind, warm, and fun. She is also extremely calm and collected which is so important to have while you're getting ready. I also had 3 other people who used Alba's services and they all have glowing reviews as well. We are so happy with Alba, I would recommend her to anyone in the NY/NJ area.”

“I had the pleasure of having Emily as my makeup artist for my April 2024 wedding. Emily was so easy to work with. Her communication was timely and responsive. She was very helpful in providing me exactly what I wanted for my wedding. Emily started by having me complete a makeup trial. I LOVED my trial makeup and Emily was so responsive to everything I asked. Emily then created a completely personalized hair and makeup timeline for wedding day that was super easy and required very little work from me to create. On the day of the wedding she brought a team of 2 ladies with her to get all 6 of my bridesmaids, mother of the bride, and 2 flower girls hair and makeup done. Emily was on time, professional, and a lot of fun to work with. She was flexible and provided such a relaxing and easy going feel for the day. I was so appreciative of how easy going it was because wedding day can be so stressful and hectic. Emily and her team were able to get us done on time and we all loved our hair and makeup.
