Donauschwaben’s German-American Cultural Center is a banquet hall in the Cleveland, Ohio area. Couples don't need German heritage or lederhosen to enjoy the elegant splendor of this wedding venue. We are conveniently located 12 minutes from the Cleveland Hopkins International Airport. Our Main Hall can accommodate 300+ guests for a wedding. There is a minimum of 150 guests required June-October and 125 guests all other months. It has high ceilings with beautiful lighting, a large dance floor and built-in stage perfect for a live band or DJ. There is also an attached patio that overlooks a lake and fountain. Tom’s Country Place, established in 1959. Our venue accommodates 80-450 guests. Located in a wooded area on 20 acres of scenic grounds, our beautiful gardens provide a picturesque setting for your wedding ceremony & photos. In 1945 a hard-working farmer, Thomas Hricovec had a vision to cater to families with a welcoming atmosphere. His wife, Mary, stood by him and dedicated her time to help him in their journey. The two worked together along with family & friends to make their dream come true. Using their farmland, the Hricovecs changed their lifestyle from farming food, to serving food as well. They broke ground in 1958 and celebrated their first wedding in the fall of 1959. Thomas & Mary instilled the importance of hard work and dedication in their family. Now, third-generation owner Bill Hricovec, a culinary graduate of Johnson & Wales, along with our team, integrates traditional family recipes with a mix of new and innovative menu selections to offer you a wide variety of choices.

Valley of the Eagles Event Center is a premier wedding venue in the Northeast Ohio region. Valley of the Eagles, approximately a 35-min car ride, is centrally located between Cleveland and Sandusky in Lorain County. After extensive renovation, the banquet facility debuted in late 2019 to provide full catering services for all events. Our space features massive floor-to-ceiling quarry rock walls, earthy tone cherry wood lined ceilings, oversized windows, and roll-up garage doors. Light and bright, the décor is both modern& rustic. And the spacious outdoor deck! Many ceremonies, cocktails, and father&daughter dances have graced the beautiful and lush outdoor grounds, surrounded by the panoramic view of the Black River and the golf course down below. Five fun facts about the Lake Erie Building: 1. We were originally built to be Templar Motors back in 1917. There were less than 3,000 of these cars ever manufactured and if you look carefully, you may even be able to spot one while in the event space! 2. Omni Lakewood purchased the building in 2005 and now manages the building, which has been divided into individual suites that are home to over 100 businesses. 3. The west parking lot where our dock is located used to be a test track for Templar Motors. 4. We host only one event per weekend and give our clients access beginning on Wednesday so they can bring in all their personal touches! We also only require cards and gifts go with them that night and everything else can stay giving you more time to spend with your new spouse! 5. We include a private parking lot and have a huge municipal lot across the street that's available to guests. (If you know of Lakewood, you know parking is a hot commodity)
