​Our names are Craig and Nancy Rogge, and we have lived on and owned this property for almost 40 years. We have raised two children here and have used our barns and property all these years to raise horses, cows, chickens, ducks, rabbits, cats, and dogs. We have many years of wonderful memories and stories on our little piece of paradise! ​Our barns were built in 1944 by a previous owner, Walter Kurzweil, who our street is named after and who used the property and barns for a dairy farm. Fast forward to 2021, when we began The Rogge Family Vineyard and Event Space, our hope has been and still is to offer a private party rental space rich in rustic barn charm for the hosting of your joyful and memorable event.

The property is inclusive of eight and a half acres, full of scenic nature and ideal photo backdrops. Inside, couples will find separate get-ready spaces as well as a staircase tucked under a stunning balcony that leads back to the primary celebration area. Also accessible is a large professional prep area for caterers. This space allows a location for chefs to use, composing food to be served fresh. Fitted with a built-in bar, this venue offers up a dedicated area where couples can serve the drinks of their choice. During the celebration, in the main room, an 85-inch screen may be used for slideshows or presentations. These elements combined with the charm of a wood-carved hall provides a cozy setting with modern amenities. Outdoors, there are also plenty of spectacular spots to discover. Woods, water, and a cedar patio all welcome couples' explorations.

Our 2,592 square feet of indoor rental space can accommodate up to 175 guests or be paired down to provide a more intimate setting. Rental of the Alexander Majors Barn also includes the use of our spacious grounds, including the back patio, picnic area, front lawn, and the neighboring park.

Whether a wedding, party, or hosting a fundraiser, the Lodge at Ironwoods will make your vision come to life. Located inside Leawood's beautiful Ironwoods Park, the Lodge has vaulted ceilings with exposed wooden beams, metal chandeliers, a full commercial kitchen, and an attached patio overlooking the woods. Our open vendor policy allows for the renter to customize the decor, menu, and entertainment as they see best fit. Beautiful attached patio for outdoor ceremony opportunity seating up to 200. The Lodge accommodates up to 300 for dinner or 500 for cocktail party.
