For our 140 person, somewhat diy wedding, this place worked really well. They were accommodating about all my questions and for additional set up time and there were no surprises when it came to pay. HOWEVER there are important things to note w this venue- first is that they decorate heavily for their xmas market starting just before thanksgiving. Second is that they can sometimes be a little all over the place with who to talk to which for us resulted in being double booked for our original Nov date- we paid our deposit, booked a dream photographer, and were about to send save-the-dates when they contacted me that they made a mistake. In the end, we got a very good date in Oct and they made it right thru discounts and paying me the difference of what id lost from the photographer not being able to make the new date. Third thing is i was under the impression when i booked that we would have a coordinator from the venue on the day-of and that is not the case. Many of the staff are helpful but there is not a designated person for running your day outside of the table/linen set up and f&b. Last thing- their office phone system is not great, i always struggled w extensions and had to have their front desk transfer me to their Special Events staff, its small but when youre stressed planning it got to me. Overall, i would recommend them to folks who like a little kitsch, a little cottagecore, and a mostly inclusive experience.

We live out of town and they were always there to address any questions or concerns, making our planning process a breeze. The venue itself is stunning, with a gorgeous outdoor ceremony site, a beautiful tent for dinner, and a barn for the reception—truly everything in one place! The Ranch House was perfect for my entire bridal party to stay onsite, and it was spacious enough for all of us to get ready together. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the venue’s intimate feel and its close proximity to the charming Arroyo Grande Village. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience or better people to work with, and we highly recommend Tar Creek Ranch for an unforgettable wedding day!

Without a doubt, Hotel Cerro is the perfect venue for an intimate wedding. My fiancé and I decided to plan our wedding to coordinate with our anniversary month and didn’t take into consideration that it was…3 months away. Haha! However, Hotel Cerro and their event planning manager, Jessica, made the experience as stress free as possible. The ceremony space is located on their second floor terrace. You are welcomed by a lush wall of greenery and glass paneling that gives you a view of the beautiful fig trees on the first floor. Across the terrace, is a full length glass wall that opens into the dining area where we had our reception. The space is intimate and inviting with exposed brick walls and windows that look down onto Garsden St. When touring the venue, Jessica was warm, friendly and easy to talk to which instantly took away some the nerves of the planning process. She took the extra time to get a feel for what we wanted for our wedding and offered suggestions of what we could do with the space. The fact that we didn’t have anything planned and a short timeline didn’t seem to phase her at all! She made it obvious that although we didn’t have a lot of time, she was going to keep us on track and get everything planned with us in time. During the tour we saw that the hotel also has an upper level pool area, “Fig Veranda” and an edible garden which are all perfect areas to do wedding photos. Each area has a different feeling to it and it added variety to our photos without having to go all over town. Plus, we had so much fun running around the hotel with our photographer the day of! Throughout the planning process, Jessica was responsive and made sure to keep me updated on due dates and what the next steps were for the planning process. If I had any questions (and I had a lot haha!), she made sure to get me whatever answers I needed quickly and offered multiple options if there were any. Their preferred flower vendor delivered us beautiful arrangements and set them up before the wedding which allowed us to focus on getting ready. They also had our personal flowers delivered to our room and sent photos of the table set up as a “sneak peek”! We stayed at Hotel Cerro for the weekend of our wedding and was pleasantly surprised by how luxurious our loft room was. It had more than enough space for our friends to visit while we got ready and took us about 5 seconds to get to the ceremony area. The staff was very welcoming and seemed to be just as excited as we were that we were having our wedding there! The wedding day was everything that we could have dreamed of and more. The ceremony space was set up on time which allowed us to put out decorations, the floor plan and day of time line was followed exactly how we had planned and the reception dinner was delicious! The staff was also extremely friendly and attentive to everyone during the event. Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Cerro if you’re looking for an intimate wedding venue. With the help of Jessica, the planning and execution of our wedding day went as smoothly as one could have hoped for and allowed us to truly enjoy our special day without additional worries!

We held out wedding here on 10/21/23 and we had such a great experience! The price was pretty reasonable for the region and it was great having food, alcohol, tables, chairs, linens, and setup and tear down all in one. My husband and I had the best wedding weekend at 1800 El Pomar. The farmhouse is a great place to host and have family from out of town come visit. We had our rehearsal dinner at the farmhouse as well and it was so fun! The ceremony and reception spots are so gorgeous and have everything you need to make your special day exceptional. The family that runs this venue is so sweet and accommodating and they made the whole process stress free. Could not recommend this venue more!!

Our wedding at Zaca Mesa Winery this July was an absolute standout. From the moment we toured the estate, we knew the stunning Los Olivos backdrop was exactly what we wanted. The views of the rolling hills and oaks are breathtaking, and the grounds are kept in pristine condition. Beyond the scenery, the estate wine is incredible. Our guests haven't stopped talking about how much they enjoyed the selection; it truly elevated the entire evening. The on-site accommodations were also a perfect fit for our needs—convenient, comfortable, and very well-appointed. The highlight of our experience, however, was working with Jake L. He was a total pro and brought such a fantastic, positive energy to the planning process. Jake was incredibly easy to work with, coordinating seamlessly with our wedding planner and all our vendors to ensure everyone was in sync. Thanks to Jake’s attention to detail, the entire day ran smoothly. We were able to actually relax and celebrate because we knew he had everything under control. If you’re looking for a venue with "wow-factor" views and a top-tier team, we cannot recommend Zaca Mesa and Jake highly enough!
