The Factory Workers is a 1920’s Movie Theater that has been converted into a one-of-a-kind wedding & event venue! Tom Marchetty, the owner of The Factory Workers Building has a family owned machinery repair business called Marchetty Machinery. Marchetty Machinery had been servicing industrial machinery in factories in the Philadelphia region since the early 1970’s. Slowly one by one these factories started closing up and going out of business due to overseas competition. So one-by-one the factories would call Marchetty Machinery and tell them that were closing up and if they had any use for the machinery they had been servicing for all those years. The machinery has been converted into tables and serving stations. From the original plaster architecture, tall ceilings, original oil canvas paintings incorporated with the industrial chic look from the machinery and several large communal dining tables, it is truly something you have never seen before and most see in person to appreciate!

Our restaurant can seat 80 or host a standing cocktail reception for 150. FringeArts can accommodate up to 200 guests for a seated dinner in their space. The two spaces are separated by a moveable air wall. We can host a ceremony and cocktail hour in the restaurant and in Haas Biergarten right outside, and then open the wall to reveal a dining room space in the FringeArts theater. After dinner, head back out to the main bar and hit up the dance floor, or head outside to Haas Biergarten. Outside we have a bar that is operational May-October, lawn games, fire pits, and a great view of the Ben Franklin Bridge!

Arch Street Meeting House is a historic wedding venue located in Old City Philadelphia. The land on which Arch Street Meeting House stands was officially deeded to the Quakers in 1701 and used as a burial ground until 1872. The building was constructed in stages from 1803 to 1811 when need arose of a larger meetinghouse in Philadelphia. The site is still an active place of worship in addition to being used as an educational museum space, and was designated a National Historic Landmark in 2011. It is frequently rented for conferences, weddings, dinners, and graduations. The building sits on just shy of 2 acres, and our grounds include both grassy & brick spaces and lots of mature trees. The entire site exudes an overall historic charm.
