Words almost fail to express how freaking fabulous our time with The Barker House was! We are just over 3 months married (3/27/2025) and family and friends still remark to us on just how fun and gorgeous our wedding was. A ton of that credit goes to the amazing staff at the Barker House. Right from the start of our first tour, we were treated with such kindness and respect from the Barker House team. We were immediately sold on the staff (who took such time and care chatting with us) before we even fell in love with the venue. Davis-Lynn and Lilly were our rockstars! We were lucky enough to have them with us on our wedding day. The first portion of the day I was incredibly nervous, but once I was greeted by Davis-Lynn at the front door all my worries dissipated. I knew I was in the best of hands and suddenly felt ready to have fun. Even during the dinner service, Lilly was so kind as to sew my ripped bustle behind the scenes. She was so dedicated to making sure we had the best experience. The venue is simply stunning. As two people who appreciate history and go antiquing regularly, The Barker House spoke to our personalities. The speak-easy feel of the sunken bar, fireplaces, and exposed beams are very unique. The venue is in a gorgeous area and we were glad to be by the ocean. The chef is phenomenal as the food service was top notch. Family still exclaim to us how delicious the food was (omg the short ribs perfection!). I also suggest that couples utilize The Barker House's recommended vendors. Not only was payment and interaction with them a breeze, but they were each fabulous in responsiveness and quality. Awesome Blossom, Toast To That Entertainment, and Kristen Griffin Photography were incredibly professional and they each blew us away. I could go on and on... The bottom line, if you looking for a worry free all inclusive beautiful venue and want to work with the best people, look no further than The Barker House! P.S. Brides, make sure you get a picture with your planners! My only regret is that I didn't get a picture with Lilly and Davis-Lynn!

From the moment we booked this place we knew we made the right choice. Kacey, our Event Producer, was PHENOMENAL from start to finish. Everything about the staff and the space was incredible. They handled everything day-of, seamlessly coordinating with our vendors, and organizing decor, timeline and tasks. The food was also fantastic, as were the desserts! We had our wedding at Saphire Estate in Sharon, MA, and it was everything we hoped for and more. We chose the venue because it gave us that dreamy garden-meets-New England charm that we really missed living in Florida, plus it’s right across from a beautiful lake that made for stunning scenery. From day one, the process with Saphire Event Group was seamless. Their team was responsive, organized, and so accommodating—especially with us planning everything from out of state. We couldn’t attend any in-person meetings aside from our initial visit, and they didn’t skip a beat. My parents even went to our food tasting in our place (bless them), and SEG made it all work without a hitch. We were lucky enough to be paired with Anne, our day-of coordinator and actual angel on Earth. From the very beginning, she felt like a friend—sweet, funny, genuine, and totally on my wavelength. I came into this with messy notes and scattered thoughts, and every time I talked to Anne, she brought clarity and calm. She completely understood the vision, printed and carried around my 3-page Google Doc (LOL), and made sure not a single detail was missed. Even when we made the big decision to change our ceremony location a few months before the wedding, she took it in stride and helped everything fall into place. She had everything perfectly lined up the day of and somehow made me feel like I didn’t need to worry about a single thing Anne, we seriously love you. And to the rest of the team: thank you! Everyone we interacted with on the day of had so much personality, were kind, professional, and genuinely seemed like they loved being there. It made a huge difference. We’re endlessly grateful to the entire Saphire team for giving us such a beautiful, stress-free experience.

It’s been one month since our wedding and every day I go back to how loved and supported I felt on the best day of my life. The Red Lion Inn played a massive role in that. My husband and I fell in love with the venue the second we stepped foot inside. From the historic inn, to the stunning barn, to the location right in the heart of quaint Cohasset, the Red Lion Inn is the wedding venue you dream about. It seems impossible that anything could out-do the beauty and charm of the venue, but the staff sets the bar even higher. From Krystel, to Andrew, to Nancy, to the MVP Toufiq, I have never felt more spoiled in my life. Every single person that interacted with me and my guests was kind, professional, and generous with their time. On top of the charm and the incredible team, the food is second to none. As a vegetarian, I have been to so many weddings where my meal is an afterthought. But not at Red Lion. Every single thing on the menu was absolutely delicious, including the vegetarian options. Beyond how delicious the food is, they accommodated every single guest and their dietary needs like the pros that they are. Red Lion is worth every penny. If you are lucky enough to be considering this venue, I encourage you to fully commit. We were taken care of like family from the first time we stepped foot in the venue, and it is because of them that our wedding day was the best day of our lives. We already cannot wait to go back and have dinner in the tavern just so we can feel the warmth of that incredible place once more.

We honestly could not recommend this venue more!! The planning process was amazing and smooth, so easy, they kept us informed and in the loop throughout the entire process, we felt so at ease knowing everything was taken care off. On our actual day we had an incident with our photographer which had nothing to do with the venue. Our amazing day of coordinator Lauren swooped in and seamlessly took care of the problem and was so amazing during the day, she took care of us so well and made us feel amazing throughout. Also massive shout to Meghan who was there on the day as well who took over photography for us the rest of the night. This was so amazingly kind from them both Lauren and Meghan and a step that they did not have to do. We could not be more grateful to them both, they made our wedding day unforgettable. The Food was also amazing! many of our guests saying how good the food was after and finally our DJ Alex was fantastic as well, the app where we could pick what songs we wanted was such a good experience and his video meetings before the day were very helpful and he was amazing on the night! We highly highly recommend this venue!

If you’re looking for a scenic wedding venue on the water with amazing food, easy communication, and seamless coordination, The Lakehouse is it! Almost a month later and we have not stopped receiving compliments about our wedding day. We got married in early November, so there wasn’t much foliage on the trees, but that did not take away any of the beauty of this venue! We lucked out with weather and had a gorgeous outdoor ceremony in front of the lake. The transition from our ceremony to cocktail hour to the reception was flawless and incredibly well-organized. The venue itself is breathtaking with its large windows, offering stunning views and a layout that allowed for an easy and natural flow throughout the day. There are also SO MANY photo ops, so even if weather didn’t cooperate, we would have had gorgeous photos no matter what! The food was nothing short of amazing! All of our guests, even our most high-maintenance ones, were highly impressed from our passed hors d’oeuvres, to our piping hot dinner. They LOVED the cookies & milk station, as well as our late-night french fry bar! I had been dreaming about this day for as long as I can remember, and I am super type-a, so I have been planning every detail for awhile! It was important to me that certain details were executed the way I had envisioned them. We were assigned Victoria as our Event Producer about 8 months prior to our wedding. She gave us the best advice and suggestions throughout the planning process, which is appreciated when you have so many decisions to make! We had a large wedding of 180 guests, as well as an 8-piece band, so it was important to us to have a large dance floor. Victoria put together the perfect floor plan that allowed us to dance the night away! On the day of our wedding, she setup all of our décor the exact way we envisioned it, and then some! We were so happy to have her there, and she was equally excited to be there for us. We truly did not have to lift a finger once we got to the venue! Our Event Manager, Aubre, kept everything running smoothly behind-the-scenes on our wedding day to the point where we did not have to worry about a thing. Our Wedding Attendant, Emma, was always right there when we needed her! She carried my bouquet or drink, bustled my dress, and even made sure we had and ate our appetizers, dinner, and dessert! These 3 women were lifesavers, and we could not have gotten through the day without them! They were so kind, thoughtful, attentive, and truly went above and beyond to make sure us and our guests were happy and taken care of. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful, stress-free experience, and we are so grateful to The Lakehouse and Saphire Event Group team for making our wedding day so perfect and unforgettable!

The Tirrell Room is a hidden gem. I cannot speak highly enough of Jen, Amy, Tina, Dennis, Kenny, and the rest of the Tirrell Room staff. Jen and Amy helped through our entire planning process. Putting our minds at ease and making the stress of wedding planning practically 0. Dennis and Kenny, as well as the rest of the kitchen staff, accommodated to every food restriction our guest had. The food was raved about the entire night! The Tirrell Room staff was friendly, efficient, and accommodating. From the moment we walked in, we knew The Barn at Mistletoe Acres Tree Farm was a special place. The ambience was truly magical, from the twinkling lights to the beautiful barn to the absolutely charming outdoor space. Every moment felt elevated by the beauty of the surroundings, and our guests still rave about how much they enjoyed attending and fell in love with the space just like we did. The venue's communication was excellent, and their work was absolutely breathtaking. We had our wedding at Venezia on 6/29/24 and it was absolutely perfect. Jennifer was our coordinator that we worked with throughout the entire process. She was so helpful and organized during the entire planning phase and truly listened to each one of our requests to make them a reality. The food was phenomenal, we have had so many guests reach out to say how delicious everything was, from the massive cheese display to the portion sizes of the dinners and the dessert table was HUGE. There was plenty of food and plenty of staff to assist all 250 of our guests. As the bride and groom, one staff member, Rob was nearby us all night for any single thing we needed and to ensure we were having a great time. He was so helpful! The timeline of the entire day went off without a hitch, once again thanks to Jen for understanding how we wanted everything to flow and to the entire staff for executing. There were no delays in getting food to tables and the entire ceremony and reception flowed smoothly. The newly renovated second floor space is STUNNING. We had our ceremony up here and it was beautiful. The venue has ocean views on both levels and a beautiful deck that guests were able to use during our reception. I can not recommend Venezia enough for a wedding or any other event - they are truly professionals and experts at what they do. Our day was perfect and we are so happy this was our venue.

After we toured 1620 Winery at Cordage Park, we immediately got in the car and said to each other that we should book it for our July 2023 Wedding. We have zero regrets! It was so beautiful and unique as a venue. We loved the convenience of everything being in one place- and so did our guests! We also loved that although it is primarily an inside venue (with air conditioning for a summer wedding!), there is a large outside deck for guests to enjoy. Logistics and planning were a dream. They are incredibly organized and prepared for anything. Jenn, the coordinator, clearly knows how to run a fantastic wedding and if anything went wrong behind the scenes, we have no idea! The wine was delicious and a fun talking point for guests. The food was hands down some of the best food we’ve had at a wedding (we loved going to the tasting ahead of time, too!) - our guests are still talking about how great the food was and how unique and fun the venue was. We love, love, loved getting married there and would suggest it to ANYONE looking to book with them. We are so happy with our decision to choose 1620 Winery at Cordage Park.

My husband and I recently got married at this beautiful venue in August. We had the ceremony on the water and everything about the day was so beautiful and perfect. It was also so very nice to have so many things within walking distance for our guests and more than enough spaces for people to stay nearby. Everyone we worked with was so incredible and helpful. Wedding planning is very stressful, but they all had a very calming, put-together presence. They were so organized and helped make the day go seamlessly. We are beyond appreciative of Franque, Mindy, Jack and Karen and everyone else who helped make this day so very special. We had our wedding in the Cupola Room at Woods Hill Pier 4 in late December, and it was absolutely perfect. Planning a Boston wedding all the way from Oregon could have been a challenge, but the team at Woods Hill Pier 4 made it so easy. They were incredibly organized and clear about every detail, responding quickly to all our questions and requests. Their professionalism and willingness to accommodate us made the process smooth and stress-free, and we felt confident everything would go perfectly—and it absolutely did. On the day of the wedding, the team truly went above and beyond to make everything special. The Cupola Room created an elegant and intimate atmosphere, with stunning views that added to the magic of the evening. The staff made us and our guests feel so welcome and taken care of—it was such a wonderful experience from start to finish. The room was setup to accommodate our small ceremony ahead of dinner, with plenty of space to have our ceremony without feeling cramped and then the same with our table setup. Our custom menus on the place settings was the perfect finishing touch. We coordinated a champagne toast post ceremony and Woods Hill Pier 4 ensured that happened without a hitch. For our tasting dinner with eight guests, the Lodge Menu was the perfect fit for us to select our menu, but still provide a balance for our guests to have their individual preferences. We added a pasta course, and it was such a great decision. This extra course really elevated the meal and gave our guests even more to enjoy. For the main course, we were able to pull from their main menu along with the Ledge options to ensure our guests would have the options they needed. Each dish was executed perfectly. Dessert was just as memorable. The wine pairings we chose from their cellar, including the Gaston Chiquet ‘Special Club’ Champagne and Jacques-Frederic Munier Pinot Noir, complemented the meal beautifully. In addition, the thoughtful blend of cocktails, and beer selections made sure every guest was happy with something that suited their individual preferences. Woods Hill Pier 4 exceeded all of our expectations, and we couldn’t imagine a better place to celebrate. The combination of incredible food, attentive service, and a beautiful setting made it truly unforgettable. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and memorable venue, especially for those planning from afar—you’ll be in excellent hands!

I cannot thank the Hyatt Regency Boston Harbor enough for everything they did to help make our wedding the most magical experience of our lives. I could not have picked a venue that better reflected me and my husband. We live 15 minutes away from the Hyatt by the water and it perfectly reflects the mix of coastal and city vibes that we love so much. Leading up to the wedding we would go to the Hyatt's restaurant regularly so we could become familiarized with the venue and just enjoy the stunning scenery. We will continue to always do that and will be reminded of our incredible wedding day there, and at this point the Hyatt feels like a 2nd home to us. The staff members were so professional and helpful the weekend of the wedding and truly throughout the whole year planning process, especially Joan and Kim who were our main contacts. They were extremely responsive and any roadblock we may have run into they addressed immediately and were so accommodating. On the big day itself we had so many people come up to us saying it was one of the most beautiful weddings they've ever been to, with the most spectacular views. The sunset was unreal, and I highly recommend getting the raw bar which just added to the ambiance during cocktail hour as well! We had a 3 event weekend with a welcome hour the night before, the wedding itself, and then the farewell brunch and it all went off without a hitch. People could not get over the location, views, and overall aesthetic and loved the hotel rooms as well. For our rehearsal dinner in Seaport we were able to go right in the backyard of the hotel and take the Boston Water taxi to and from the dinner which was a major benefit and highlight of the weekend! Then when we got back to the hotel, the welcome hour was all set up and ready for us to have Hors d'oeuvres and a full bar for the remainder of our guests who arrived at the hotel the night before the wedding! We hired a guitarist/vocalist to perform at the welcome hour and the venue space on the 2nd floor veranda was perfect for the event and a huge hit! Another big highlight outside of the wedding itself was getting ready day-of in the Junior Suite. My bridesmaids and the Moms were so comfortable and had a blast getting ready throughout the day in a gorgeous space overlooking the city. We had breakfast and lunch brought into the suite for all the girls and it was delicious. Even the guys had their own private space to get ready as well in a big conference room which was perfect for them. Overall the getting ready experience, the events surrounding the wedding, and the wedding itself was everything we could have dreamed of and I'm so grateful to the Hyatt. We also got so many Hyatt points by having our wedding there that our entire Hawaii honeymoon stay at the Grand Hyatt Kauai ended up being covered by those points! It was an incredible benefit and really a cherry on top of our dream coastal/city wedding. We would recommend to anyone to have their wedding at the Hyatt Regency Boston Harbor :)
