About this venue

Best for micro weddings! Formerly known as the Edward Winslow House, The Mayflower Society House was built by Loyalist Edward Winslow, the great-grandson of Pilgrim Edward Winslow, in 1754. Throughout the 19th Century, this historic home was lived in and preserved by several influential Plymouth families and remodeled in 1898 by noted architect Joseph Chandler. The mansion holds over three centuries of history, and we would be honored for our home to be a part of yours. The manicured Mayflower Society House and Gardens offer multiple options for indoor and outdoor events or ceremonies. The large and open Solarium is perfect for parties up to 40 seated. Whether you’re planning a corporate event or an intimate catered dinner, parties of all sizes are a perfect fit. We can accommodate up to 40 guests inside The Mayflower Society House and up to 110-120 outside with the optional installation of a tent. Our staff will happily supply a list of our favorite local vendors.

Your reservation is a 6 hour event plus 2 hours for set up and 1 hour breakdown-9 hours total includes event planner & cleaning fees.
Booking fees for our facilities, and all payments made including deposits, are non-refundable. If you cancel your event within 40 days of your booked date, we’ll bill you the full amount of all estimated charges. You may however re-book for a date in the future and all payments will be credited.
Our building is located 42 miles from Boston Logan airport in MA. Or 63 miles from Providence Green Airport in RI.
