“Joel with Loud Lion Live Entertainment was absolutely amazing to work with for our wedding! From the very first consultation call we had with him, we could tell he was the person we wanted to work with. One of my questions for him during that first call was if I provide a list of music and songs that I want to hear, will you use that or will you play your own mixes and playlists that you typically use? He said the more information I provide him with the better. I made a playlist with more songs than could be played in one night and Joel used my playlist exclusively. He even played a not common song from our playlist that is special to my husband and I, which was one of the highlights of our night! His professionalism and self-awareness was great too. He moved out from behind the DJ booth during our first dance as it was centered behind where we were being photographed and videoed, so everything captured from that moment only has us in them. I also requested the music be played at a moderate volume all night so people could still have conversations with each other without yelling, which he did perfectly (my ears have been blasted at other weddings I have attended and did not want the same experience for my guests). Joel helped make our wedding reception such a special night and one we will never forget. We highly recommend using Loud Lion Live Entertainment for your DJ!”

I was extremely stressed about choosing the right songs for our ceremony, but she was so calming, patient, and helpful throughout the entire process. She truly made everything feel easy and guided me in a way that took so much pressure off. She even went above and beyond by learning a new song that my husband absolutely loves, which meant so much to us. Honestly, my husband wasn’t fully on board with hiring a violinist at first, but after the wedding, he admitted it was one of the best decisions we made and was so glad we chose Sarah Beth! Her music added such a beautiful and special touch to our ceremony, and everything flowed perfectly thanks to her help with timing and coordination. My husband is a classically trained pianist and we met playing instruments in college bands — so it’s safe to say we’re pretty tough customers! Many of his family members are also musicians, and we got nothing but compliments from them as well. Being classical music lovers (nerds?) they were happy to accommodate the titles we had in mind, even when we had ridiculous requests like a specific tempo. If we hadn’t had our own ideas for selections, I’m sure they would have been happy to assist. They also played a great selection of pop music at our cocktail hour. “We cannot recommend RCDJ enough! We booked the Earl Package Ceremony services and had DJ Kyle on the day of and everything was perfect. They also recommended a day of coordinator who works with them, Carley Pilgrim, and she was absolutely amazing too, highly recommend booking both of them together!! We loved their online planning portal where we could share our timeline, must-play songs, do not play songs, link playlists if we wanted (we created a playlist of our guest's first dance songs to play during the cocktail hour), and more! We really had so much fun dancing at our reception because of the vibe Kyle was able to create and he had all the guests out there for hours! He did a great job reading the room, knowing when to switch things up, and keeping the dance floor full all night. We got so many compliments about the DJ and playlist all night! We gave Kyle some songs we like and he learned our personalities and then took over the playlist from there, and he absolutely nailed it. We also had a special request that Kyle worked with us to make happen. My husband is a huge Knicks fan and our wedding was in the middle of the NBA finals. He wanted to play Empire State of Mind and have the DJ throw us Knicks T shirts to wear. Kyle didn't miss a beat and that is one of our favorite memories from the night! “Overall, we had a good experience with our DJ. He arrived on time, was professional throughout the evening, and kept our guests on the dance floor for most of the night. That said, I did spend a lot of time carefully selecting songs that were meaningful to us, and I was a little disappointed that many of those selections weren't played. Some of our requested songs were included, but I had hoped more of our playlist would be incorporated into the evening. We had paid for a vendor meal for him, so I wasn't sure what had happened, and it didn't feel like the best time to bring it up while we were in the middle of such a special moment.
