“The Barn on the Pemi was the perfect venue for our September wedding. From the moment we first reached out, the team was incredibly responsive, helpful, and thoughtful in their communication. Their professionalism and expertise put us at ease throughout the planning process even when unforeseen circumstances created a change in coordinator; the team was available in person or via phone or email to talk through any of the ideas we wanted to see on our day. On the day of, the venue made for the most beautiful backdrop to our special day; our guests got to go on a journey through the stunning grounds as they transitioned from our greenhouse ceremony, to cocktail hour on the terrace overlooking the mountains and lastly dinner and a night of dancing in the barn. Krysta and her day-of coordination team were absolute stars, and they made us feel like family throughout our entire wedding experience. They set up all of our decor and personalized touches, as well as worked with our outside vendors to help them prepare for the day. Her and her team truly brought our vision to life, down to the smallest details like the blue goblets and rust-colored napkins. The food and drinks were delicious, and the staff were so kind and attentive to us and our guests. We could not recommend The Barn on the Pemi enough!”

“Oh, where does one start when recommending them?! As a photographer, staff communication is so important when it comes to timelines, locations on the property, etc.. Everyone I came in contact was so helpful, kind, and genuinely happy to be there. I was informed on the timeline multiple times throughout the day, and could always find someone when a question arose. Something huge that seems small was dinner. Myself along with the other vendors were fed promptly (the best meal I’ve ever had at a wedding too), with a space to set our belongings, which allowed us to get right back to work and not miss a thing! It’s so important that vendors are fed quickly so we aren’t scrambling to get back out there. As a natural light photographer, the Inn was a dream. Beautiful fencing, giant trees for shade, two buildings to work with, there was no shortage of “locations” when it came to the portraits. Between, the staff, location, and professionalism I easily give them a 10/10, and hope to be back for future weddings!”

The location is beautiful and serene, grounds were immaculate and they remembered every detail that we asked for. Kate was one of the biggest reasons we chose to have our wedding there. She is thoughtful, never pushy or rushed, detail oriented and responsive. Our guests raved about the food at each event (rehearsal, wedding and brunch) and having access to the full Inn and grounds made for a relaxing weekend getaway for our families and us. “We got married at the Summit Lodge in Killington, Vermont this past August, and it truly could not have been more perfect. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful—tucked in the mountains with gorgeous views and such a warm, welcoming atmosphere. One of the most unique and amazing parts was being able to have the entire property to ourselves for four days. It made the whole experience feel relaxed, intimate, and so special for us and our guests. From the welcome gathering to the wedding day and everything in between, it felt like our own private mountain retreat. Angela, the coordinator, was incredible to work with and made the entire process feel seamless. She went above and beyond to make sure every detail came together perfectly. Her support staff, especially Brigitte, were equally amazing—so helpful, organized, and genuinely kind throughout the entire weekend. They made us feel completely taken care of and allowed us to truly enjoy every moment. The owner, Emmett, was also fantastic and offered so much helpful advice along the way. It was clear how much he cares about the experience couples and their guests have there. Our friends and family are still talking about how beautiful the venue was and how smoothly everything ran—so many people have told us it was their favorite wedding they’ve ever been to. We couldn’t recommend this venue more highly. We also highly recommend asking about RambleTree, one of their partnered bands that plays Irish music during the winter months, for a late-night set. It was one of the highlights of our wedding and really added to the Irish charm of the whole celebration.”

“We are so glad we chose Lake Morey resort for our wedding venue. Our top priority for our venue was to find a place where our friends and family would be able to share quality time together, have fun, and enjoy the outdoors. Lake Morey nailed it with their social environment, gorgeous grounds, and amazing live music. We had our ceremony in the Hemlock Gardens, with cocktail hour in Mapleview Gardens & tented reception on the lawn — all the venues dressed up beautifully for the big day. While food wasn’t a huge priority for us when selecting the venue, Lake Morey greatly exceeded our expectations. The reception food and hors d’oeuvres were delicious and garnered a ton of compliments. And no review of Lake Morey would be complete without a shout-out to Bonnie, the in-house wedding coordinator, who is exceptional. She was extremely organized, responsive, and helpful throughout the entire process. When we had a scare about getting rained out, she proactively made sure to book the nicest spaces for backup venues at no upcharge for us (fortunately, the skies did clear up for the big day, but she saved our welcome party from disaster). It was so clear to us that Bonnie really cares about the couples she works with — it’s more than just a job for her. Thank you once again Bonnie and all the amazing staff at Lake Morey!”

“Riverside Farm was so wonderful to work with and a spectacular place to host our wedding! We hosted around 130 people and had three days of events at Riverside Farm in 2026 and all went so smoothly and were stunningly beautiful. We had a welcome party in the evening the first day, a cocktail hour and reception the second day, and a farewell brunch the morning of the third day. It’s lovely to have the whole space for your wedding for the weekend - we were glad to only have people we knew at the venue, and to not feel rushed for arriving and dropping things off nor leaving at the end. Kaycee gave us a tour of the property in 2025 which was very helpful and gave us confidence. Then over the next year, we worked extensively with Krissy, our wedding coordinator, to bring the wedding weekend to life. She was excellent, friendly, helpful, and kept everything running smoothly and was our one point of contact for anything we needed related to Riverside Farm. She coordinated all with 1888 Builders, the company you are required to rent from for tables, chairs, kitchenware, etc. We found the prices to be reasonable and it was easy to just work through Krissy and Vermont Farms Catering, who did our catering, as they knew exactly what was needed for most things. The property is absolutely stunning. The barns are immaculately maintained and the grass and landscaping too. The accommodations vary in layout and we and our wedding party enjoyed them but they are not all your typical rooms of a queen or king bed. Additionally, they are scattered around the property but none are so far from the main activities that it’s a hassle. We enjoyed the beautiful Suite for the bridal couple, it’s a large, eclectic space and convenient from the red barn. We would highly recommend Riverside Farm and Krissy and the whole team for your wedding!”

“I cannot say enough positive things about the Rosewood Country Inn as a wedding venue. This venue is special in that you get the entire 11-room inn for the weekend (Fri-Sun), and so we were able to have our closest friends and family staying with us, which was a blast! We held ours at the gazebo in the courtyard, which was surrounded by beautiful trees and scenery that make for gorgeous pictures. The dining hall of the inn hosts the reception, and is perfect for an intimate and stylish dining experience that then morphs a dance floor! The food is excellent (Stan's stuffed french toast can't be missed), not only for the reception but the rehearsal dinner and breakfasts on Sat and Sun. “20/10 recommend getting married on the Mountain Top! The venue in and of itself is a DREAM. The staff and servers went above and beyond. Shout out to the events coordinator manager, Danny, who quite literally was always smiling and checking in on us our entire wedding weekend. My husband and I live out in Seattle, but we’re both from Massachusetts. We wanted somewhere in New England that has that rugged mountain landscape, but also somewhere everyone could join us for the whole weekend. I’m so obsessed with it here, can’t WAIT to come back! We used Meadows Edge Florals for our flowers/decorations, and I have nothing but AMAZING things to say about Gayle and her team. We used Juniper Studios for photography and Angela and Idena’s talents are something I can’t even put into words. Best decisions I’ve ever made.”

We’ve renovated the event halls at The Common Man Inn & Spa in Plymouth and opened The Nest, a cozy event space at Common Man Ashland. “My husband and I got married at the Barn on the Pemi on 5/31/24, which works closely with the Common Man Inn & Spa. We had our room block, rehearsal dinner, and after party at the Inn, but I'm here to rave about our experience with the Spa! After booking our venue, I spoke to the Inn about any accommodations or recommendations they might have for somewhere for myself and my bridesmaids to get ready the morning of the wedding. They actually have what they affectionately call the "Getting Ready Room," which can be reserved ahead of time. I saw some pictures, saw that the room had some nice natural light, floor to ceiling mirrors and salon chairs, so I figured it was our best bet. Come wedding week and I went down to the spa with my bridesmaid to see the room and the pictures definitely did not do it justice! The room is large with a sitting area with a couch, table and chairs in the middle and salon-style chairs and mirrors around the perimeter. Our hair and makeup stylists were THRILLED with the setup, since they are used to cramped, poorly-lit hotel rooms for wedding prep! I will let the pictures speak for themselves, but want to add one more thing. The night before the wedding, one of my nails (done at a salon back home) broke and popped off - nightmare! I kept the broken piece and brought it to the Spa the morning of the wedding to see if they could help. The Spa staff went above and beyond to make sure my nails looked perfect. One of their nail techs sat in front of my while I was having my makeup done, glued the nail piece back on, and put a top layer of the. white french tip and clear coat shellac over all of my nails to make sure they all looked the same. I would highly recommend the Spa Getting Ready Room for the morning of your wedding - the space and the staff are fantastic!”

We are a very laid back team of husband and wife running his family's 6th generation family farm. We are rustic but also a charming, authentic Vermont experience. The barn can become incredibly elegant for a more formal affair but can also look just perfect with some simple, personal accents. Some of the great things that people love about our venue is our relaxed vibe, we are a BYOB facility and we allow any and all outside vendors. We can house up to 50 guests in the 4 houses that are available on our property. We also allow camping anywhere on the 350 acre property and we have an awesome "glamping site" available for rent as well. We are a weekend rental with the ability to add on days before and after the event to prepare and to relax after. We also have no curfews and encourage you and your guests to party in the barn or around the firepit all night long.

“We got married at Stickney Farms last weekend, and we really can't explain how wonderful it was. We had all our friends and family stay on the property with us, we used the field for giant games of kickball, volleyball, badminton, and capture the flag. We swam in the waterfalls on the property, walked the trails, and took in the beautiful valley views all day every day. The dancehall was everything you could hope for as a dinner venue - historic, elegant, and magical. The owners are incredibly kind, responsive, and wonderful people. Being able to use the property and do our own food and flowers and everything else let us have exactly the wedding we hoped to have. Every single one of our guests told us that it was the best wedding they had ever been to. I feel like I'm giving away a hidden gem, but we already got married there so now it's ok if this place is booked every weekend!!!!”

They were flexible on location of our outside ceremony and having the option of the chapel inside if weather didn’t cooperate put our minds at ease. “We would 1000% recommend Windsor Mountain. The camp is beautiful, but we have to start with the staff. Gabby, our point person, was the kindest and most thoughtful human. We loved working with her. When we first toured the camp, we were sold not only by the setting, but by the fact that we would get to plan our weekend with her. In the months leading up to the wedding, we had a few meetings with Gabby to go over details and talk through our vision. She shared a full Google Drive for us with FAQs, room spreadsheets, food menus and more. We also attended a food tasting in the summer and got to tour the camp again. On the Friday morning before the wedding, we met with her and handed off everything. She and the entire camp staff took it from there so we did not have to think about a single thing all weekend. We had a perfect weekend. The staff were incredible, the food was delicious and our guests had so much fun. The location itself is stunning. The lake, the trees, the ceremony site, the cabins and buildings, open fields etc. made the entire camp feel peaceful, scenic and special. The lakefront treehouse for the couple to stay in is also beautiful. They have a solid rain plan, they worked with us to stay within our food budget and the activities are endless. There are a variety of cabins for guests and a house for those who may need extra amenities, such as elderly guests or parents with infants. Guests loved having access to the lake, zip line, ropes course, walking trails, etc. Windsor Mountain is amazing and we are so grateful we chose it.”

“My husband and I got married at LBL in July 11, 2026. There are so many great things about this venue and the staff there! I'll start by saying the venue itself was so nice. We had events Thursday-Sunday and it was amazing to have a place where all of our guests could spend the weekend and have things to do. Pickleball was a huge hit and a lot of people got out to enjoy the water in between wedding events. It was also nice to be able to have everything happen in one place so no one had to drive anywhere. It really allowed us to spend as much time with our guests as possible. Moving on to the staff, literally everyone (office staff, bar staff, room staff, wait staff) that worked there was great to interact with. They were always willing to help us out. Everyone there was so relaxed throughout the weekend I was worried that there would be something that went wrong but they got so many things done without me having to think about it let alone instruct them. As a type A bride this felt magical to have happened. You can tell they are experienced in running weddings and they care about making it the weekend that you want it to be. Rebecca was absolutely wonderful to work with! She was always quick to reply to emails and supper positive and reassuring through every step. We had a large room block and the office staff was helpful in coordinating all of the details and changes that came with reservations and welcome bags. LBL was supportive of the unique things we wanted to do. For example LBL handled the delivery, storage, and prep of a live butterfly release at the ceremony. They also were willing to take our Ninja slushy machine and use it to make a signature slushy cocktail throughout the night. I can't stress enough how great LBL was to work with and would definitely recommend having your wedding here!”

“We had the most incredible winter wedding at Church Landing. The views of the frozen lake and snowy mountains were spectacular. We spent most of our time inside because it was so cold, but that was perfectly fine since the ballroom was so beautiful and elegant. Our assigned wedding coordinator Rachael Boisvert was amazing. She made everything I wanted to do happen without question. She went above and beyond by not only coordinating the staff and setting up the tables but also setting up the extra decor items I brought in a beautiful way too. She brought my vision to life. I was surprised by how easy she made the day before and the day of the wedding! The waitstaff was equally amazing, so attentive to our needs and wthe needs of our guests. We paid one reasonable price for the venue, food, open bar and we even added the rehearsal dinner in a different room at Church Landing! All in all it was a great value. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate our special day and we are so grateful to the entire team at Mills Falls for making it unforgettable! ”

“Our February 2025 wedding at The Pitcher Inn was nothing short of extraordinary. From start to finish, the entire experience felt effortless, warm, and deeply personal. Jim truly led the service team with exceptional care and professionalism. He made sure every detail ran seamlessly—not just on the wedding day, but throughout our entire two-night stay afterward. Anything we needed was anticipated before we even had to ask, which made the whole experience feel incredibly thoughtful and calm. Sergiu, Shanay, and Jannielle deserve special recognition for keeping the energy light, fun, and engaging. Our guests absolutely loved connecting with them—it felt less like “staff” and more like friends who were genuinely excited to be part of the celebration. Their presence elevated the entire evening. The food was a 12/10. Not a single dish was sent back, which says everything. Chef Jacob and the kitchen team (Marine, Arra, Cem, Ervin, and Stella) went above and beyond, even accommodating a gluten-free request for just one guest with care and attention that never felt like an afterthought. And the cake—crafted by head baker Jordan—was truly breathtaking. It looked like something straight out of Vogue and tasted just as incredible. Our ceremony was very small and intimate at the courthouse up the road, and our cocktail-style celebration at The Pitcher was intentionally simple. But doing “simple” well requires an immense amount of planning—and thanks to Caitlin leading the way, I didn’t stress once. She took everything off my plate, made decisions easy, and even stepped in to make choices for me when needed. Her calm confidence allowed me to be fully present and enjoy every moment. We already can’t wait to do a vow renewal someday—just so we have an excuse to plan another party at The Pitcher Inn. This place, and the people who make it what it is, will forever hold a special place in our hearts.”
