Originally a cow and poultry farm, the previous owners had run the property as a winery before Rick purchased it in May of 2017. The Historic Bank, with its lofty ceilings, ornate chandeliers, and intricate details, exudes the timeless opulence of a bygone era, where elegance beautifully intersects with history, creating an atmosphere that whisks you away to another time. The Donaldson Brown Riverfront Event Center is a stately setting for an up-scale wedding experience whose tone is evident upon arrival. Located 200 feet atop Mount Ararat, the estate overlooks the Susquehanna River. The manor’s rooms feature original fixtures such as its spiral stairways, arched doorways, antique chandeliers, and subtle wall moldings for an effect of refined elegance. Its manicured lawn looks out over the deep waters of the Susquehanna River providing a stunning backdrop for an outdoor ceremony.
