“We knew Cover Story was the perfect choice for our wedding from our very first call with Chris. Chris and Elena made the entire planning process clear and easy from start to finish. They brought their expertise and guidance exactly when we needed it, while still giving us plenty of room for creative input. The whole collaboration felt natural and seamless. They made us feel totally safe asking all of our questions and took care of everything, working with our venue effortlessly. The performers on the day were phenomenal, and our guests are still talking about it! Their talent was incredible, and they were kind, fun, and professional to work with. Our ceremony guitarist learned our entrance songs and performed them beautifully. Our special dances were played from mp3 and were timed perfectly. Even though we honestly didn't give them much direction for timing, they just nailed it! And then the party! Our family and friends love to dance, and the band kept the energy high all night long. They even learned a couple of extra songs for us that sounded amazing. Their talent is honestly unreal. They definitely were supposed to take more breaks than they did, but they just kept playing, and even gave us an encore. After the wedding, we got to chat with some of the band members, and they were all so kind and genuinely cool people. The entertainment really shapes the overall atmosphere of a wedding, and because of Cover Story, our wedding day was perfect. We'd recommend Cover Story for any event, hands down!”

“Hiring Benny to DJ our wedding was literally the best decision that we made in our entire wedding planning process! We first met Benny when he DJ’d our friend’s wedding, and at the time, we already had hired and put down a non refundable deposit on another DJ. Our friend’s wedding was an intimate 60 person wedding, but it was literally the most fun wedding with the best music that we had ever been to. The vibes were amazing and there were no lulls or bad songs the entire night. After that wedding, we knew that we had to let the other DJ go and hire Benny, and thank goodness we did! Benny was so great and easy to work with and made the process so much fun! We had several calls with him to discuss what music we like and what vibe we wanted to create for our day! “My husband and I recently got married September 2023 at Hotel Providence in Rhode Island. Planning a wedding was one of the hardest things I ever had to do in my life. Finding the perfect vendor for each part of your wedding is hard. I spent many many days privately messaging people and trying to see who fits what I need for this day. I came down to the DJ. I found Josh of D and J entertainment. I read all his positive reviews and decided to give him a call. He without hesitation answered all my questions and drove from Massachusetts to Rhode Island to meet with us. Josh hands down is one of the coolest people you can talk to. He is very honest but in a good way. He lets you know was popular with weddings now and helps you out his spin on it. Josh’ company has amazing pricing. They are able to accommodate all weddings. With so much you have to pay for on this day it’s nice paying someone and feeling like your money is actually going to be used well with him. They arrived hours before the ceremony to set up. The hotel loved the company too and how polite they were. Josh came prepared with all the music we requested to hear that day. From the minute we walked down the isle to when everyone left. Josh kept playing amazing music. All night I wasn’t let down once by the song choice. In some areas the venue messed up on a few things. Example the cake cutting and first dance. The hotel really didn’t nail timing so josh Took complete control of the wedding and saved it truly. He made sure my cake cutting and first dance were memorable because the hotel slipped with this. Nothing like a DJ who saves the day too. The best part of it all while DJing Josh found time to take so many photos. He wasn’t asked or required to do so. He took it upon himself to take more professional photos for us. That’s what I call above and beyond. Couldn’t believe he went that far out of his way for us. Thank You josh and all of d and J entertainment. You made the Soares wedding the biggest success. We will never forget you or your amazing spirit and drive to make others day unforgettable.”

“My husband and I used Direct Entertainment for our DJ and videographer for our wedding and we could not be more pleased!! The team was professional, great at communication, very kind and professional, and they helped make our day absolutely perfect! Jeff, our DJ kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT!! When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). We were so happy and thankful to have Jeff there! Sie, our videographer also did a wonderful job! We have not yet received our video as our wedding was less than 2 weeks ago, but I already know it is going to be amazing. He was so great with communication, was prompt with his timing, and he even set up a second camera for guests to break away and give us well wishes for our marriage, which I'm so excited to watch back. He was very professional and wonderful to work with. We decided to add videography at the last minute because we thought we might regret not having it, and I am SO happy we asked Jim at Direct Entertainment if they had someone available for our day just a month before, and they did!! Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. Overall, we would 1000% recommend Direct Entertainment for any wedding entertainment needs! “Overall, we had a good experience with our DJ. He arrived on time, was professional throughout the evening, and kept our guests on the dance floor for most of the night. The music flowed well, and everyone seemed to have a great time. That said, I did spend a lot of time carefully selecting songs that were meaningful to us, and I was a little disappointed that many of those selections weren't played. Some of our requested songs were included, but I had hoped more of our playlist would be incorporated into the evening. The only other issue was that, just before our grand exit, he approached us to mention that he hadn't received enough food. We had paid for a vendor meal for him, so I wasn't sure what had happened, and it didn't feel like the best time to bring it up while we were in the middle of such a special moment. Despite those concerns, he was friendly, punctual, and our guests clearly enjoyed themselves. If having a lively dance floor is your top priority, he does a good job creating a fun atmosphere.”

“Joe and his team were incredible! All of our guests are STILL talking about how great Joe was - he picked perfect songs that were a hit with our crowd across generations and included some of our all time favorites as well. We gave him a few do not plays and just a couple must plays, but he handled the rest perfectly!! Fine Tune Entertainment has an easy to use planning website, where we were able to edit our timeline and song choices throughout the process - this helped keep everything super organized. Joe was excellent at keeping the schedule moving with speeches, photos and dancing. We also used Fine Tune Entertainment's sister company for the photo booth which was incredibly high quality and a major HIT with our guests. They had the option to get digital copies or take home a printed one! We added 10 up lights to our space as well and Joe perfectly managed color changes to enhance the party vibe. We highly recommend Joe & Fine Tune Entertainment to couples in the Boston/MA area because of the incredible music played, the calm demeanor and excellent communication throughout the process! “Brian is one of the best wedding DJs in the business. In the past two years I’ve been to eight different weddings. Brian was the DJ for three of the eight, and the party/reception component of the events was never more fun than when Brian was driving the bus. He is an east coast DJ, but he spun tracks at both of my sister-in-laws’ weddings and as we were searching for a DJ for our own wedding we reached out just to see what he would charge for a wedding in Chicago. Turns out the price was right. Brian traveled to Chicago, MC’d our entire wedding, brought all of the equipment necessary and made our day exceptional in every way. I think there are a few things that really set Brian apart from other wedding DJs. Anyone can stand there and run through a playlist, but Brian went off book a few times to match and capture the energy of the guests. As we were in the midst of the planning process he added zero stress, and just calmly walked us through the process of selecting songs. He had suggestions and recommendations along the way. He even brought an extra speaker so that we could plug our digital piano in and the pianist would be able to play loudly enough. Overall, we can’t recommend Brian highly enough. You will not regret choosing him to DJ at your wedding, party, event. Whatever it is, Brian is a huge value add and a pleasure to work with.”

Once we committed he provided a google doc to figure out or music and how we wanted the flow of our wedding. And let me tell you yesterday he did not miss a beat. The way he adapted to small changes and keeping us on track was truly incredible. We had 3 locations at our venue and he had no issues changing over keeping the day a smooth transition. From ceremony, tent dining to barn dancing the music was just on point. He really knew how to keep the music going and no steel moments. The best part was after all the wedding moments were done we had the dancing in the barn and he had my 150 guest dancing from being to end! I got so many compliments on the play list and was told by my guests that my wedding was the best wedding they’ve ever been to and I believe that was because I picked the most AMAZING DJ and the prettiest venue! Eric will always be our go to DJ if we ever put on another event!!!”

He played all of the songs we specifically requested and somehow had the perfect instinct for reading the room and knowing exactly when to turn things up. His ability to keep the dance floor packed and the energy high was unbelievable. We had so many guests come up to us throughout the night and even after the wedding to tell us how amazing our DJ was and how much fun they had on the dance floor. What impressed us most was how seamlessly Brendan handled the entire day — from our ceremony music, to cocktail hour, to dinner, and then completely transforming the energy for the reception. Every song felt intentional and perfectly suited to the moment. He was so talented at building the energy throughout the night, and you could genuinely tell he knew exactly what he was doing. On top of being an amazing DJ, Brendan also handled our lighting, Photo Booth, and cold sparks, and everything was incredible. The cold sparks were such a fun touch and made some of our biggest moments feel even more special. Having everything coordinated through one person made the entire experience so seamless. Brendan was not only incredibly talented, but he made us feel heard, cared for, and confident that our wedding was in good hands. He took what we wanted and elevated it beyond what we could have imagined. Our dance floor was one of the highlights of our entire wedding, and that was 100% because of Brendan. He was extremely easy to work with, is very experienced, organized, personable and makes everyone feel special. Most importantly, Graeme is fun! He realizes the importance of weddings, despite how many he's done - and he took extra care in making ours special, memorable and personalized. There is no doubt he knows what he's doing, and he makes sure everyone is happy and having a great time. Not only does he take care of absolutely everything - he goes FAR above and beyond. We had my now sister-in-law and her husband sing our first dance song (they traveled from out of town) and Graeme was able to arrange a guitar to make it extra special and perfect - convenience for everyone! I also didn't know what my first dance song would be with my dad, because my dad was adamant about surprising me and ended up creating a "mash-up" of special songs from my childhood, and was only able to do this because of Graeme and his willingness to go above and beyond (and the "mash-up" was under 2 minutes, which I am SURE Graeme also helped direct ;) ) - Our wedding day simply would not have been the same without him. If you are looking for a DJ for your wedding, look NO further. From before the ceremony to "shutting the place down" he managed it flawlessly every step of the way and we are so thankful for him. “We could rave about DJ Thrilla all day long, but in the words of our wedding guests: “Best dance floor we’ve seen in a long time!” It’s been weeks since our wedding and our guests can’t stop talking about how great the music was. Arthur did a great job with the ceremony and cocktail hour, and managed a tricky parent dance section (multiple sets of parents & timing!) We requested a Taylor Swift mashup and he exceeded expectations and made it the highlight of our night. The dance floor was always packed, and Arthur did a great job of taking into account our requests while playing music everyone would enjoy. We opted to use uplighting as well, which looked beautiful during dinner (we chose a warm lighting) and was so fun for the dance floor with flashing lights. By the end of the night, he even had guests asking him to travel to Texas to DJ their wedding! Booking DJ Thrilla was one of the best vendor decisions we made for our wedding and we could not recommend him more!”
