Luvdup DJs

“We are in love with Luv’d Up DJs! Working with Kelton (and Gemma!) was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We had been to a wedding Gemma DJ-ed before and were glued to the dance floor the entire night, so we already had high expectations… but Kelton managed to surpass every single one. From the moment we booked, the entire process felt easy, warm, and genuinely cared for. Gemma guided us through everything with such kindness, answering all our questions and making us feel supported throughout the year of planning. As the day drew closer, Kelton checked in thoughtfully — helping us shape our playlists, talking us through ceremony audio, and easing every little worry we had about our special moments. You can feel how much he loves what he does. He coordinated perfectly with our officiant and my brother, who played guitar live as I walked down the aisle — making sure everyone felt comfortable and confident. And on the wedding day, before anything even began, he found me just to wish me luck and reassure me that everything was set. That tiny moment of calm meant more to me than he probably realizes. And then… the reception. It was pure magic. I did not leave the dance floor once! and neither did anyone else — our guests were dancing, shouting, singing, and fully living their best lives from the first song to the very last. Kelton didn’t just keep the energy up, he built it into this joyful, electric wave that carried the whole room. He blended every genre so seamlessly that nobody ever wanted to sit down. I was having such an incredible time that I literally danced holes into my wedding gown — and I regret nothing! The compliments about the music and about Kelton himself poured in all night because everyone could feel how special he made it. We walked away from our wedding feeling like Kelton was a part of the heart of the day. We truly could not have been happier. My husband keeps asking when we can find an excuse to hire Luv’d Up again — which honestly sums up how magical they made our celebration. If you want a DJ who doesn’t just play music but elevates the whole experience with passion, kindness, and genuine joy… Kelton and Luv’d Up DJs are everything.”

“Best decision ever to hire The Last Nites for our wedding! They have a great song list and did an awesome job with the additional song we chose for our first dance. Their energy was great and they really knew how to work with our caterers — when to play down time music during dinner, when to dance, etc. My absolute highlight of the night was when they played one of my all time favorite songs (even though it’s not a crowd favorite). Not only did they make our night so fun and special, but they were easy to communicate with up leading up to our wedding day. I HIGHLY recommend The Last Nites for a wedding! All of our guests were so impressed by them and had so much fun dancing and watching them play; they really helped elevate our wedding day and we’ll remember it forever!”

“Eddie & Dave were awesome! They were our DJ and emcee for our wedding ceremony and reception on August 31. Eddie was easy to communicate with, and was there for us through the whole experience from beginning to end. The second it was dance time, they got the crowd up and out onto the dance floor in a heartbeat, and most didn’t leave the dance floor until the night was over. DJ was good, knew what songs to play, when to play them, and played the ones I wanted. And the emcee was awesome, funny & easily able to get people involved in whatever!! We also rented a Photo Booth through DJ Double E and it was a HUGE hit!! They’re awesome and I would totally book them again!”

“Justin was a pleasure to work with from the initial interview to the last song at our wedding. Justin played with a three piece band for our ceremony (guitar, piano, bass) and cocktail hour (saxophone, piano, bass) and then DJ'd our reception. Justin made sure that the music played at our wedding and cocktail hour was tailored to specifically match the vibe of our dinner playlist. He even surprised us by playing one of our favorite Herbie Hancock tunes during cocktail hour. The vibe of the live jazz trio during cocktail hour was a perfect transition over to dinner. Justin then switched over to DJ our dinner and reception afterwards. He played all the right songs to keep the dance floor flowing all night. If you are seeking a combination of live music and DJ at your wedding I would highly recommend Skylark Music.”

After moving to Beacon, NY around the same time, it made sense to start an official wedding music business to share their love of music with some of the many happy couples getting married in the Hudson Valley. One thing they love about playing music for weddings is the variety that is required of them. Every gig is different and they all happen on one of the happiest days of the clients' lives!

Valentino Entertainment, LLC

Rating: 5.0 (46 reviews)

“From our first interaction with Valentino Entertainment, LLC, we were impressed by their thorough, relaxed, and reassuring communication style. Paul and his team provided a truly professional experience, with top-notch equipment and amazing value for the services they delivered. They worked tirelessly as our hard-working entertainers, genuinely caring about making our special day a blast. The reception environment was such an active party - at one point, I went back to the head table to get water and no one was sitting, as people were fully dancing or enjoying the music from the sidelines. Even when we had to make some last-minute changes to the day's details, Paul was able to roll with it seamlessly, even practicing our long last name until he got it right. The remainder of the reception was an absolute blast, with people dancing through the entire end of the night. It was truly the best day and party we could have had, and we would hire Valentino Entertainment, LLC again in a heartbeat. The photobooth was also a great value-add.”

“The Music Boutique was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. From the very beginning, Scott was extremely helpful and responsive, and always providing us with great ideas, suggestions, and guidance to make our day special. We had a duo playing for our ceremony and during the cocktail hour and then we had a small 3 person band playing for our reception. And it was the perfect amount of people. We had spoken to some other bands and they all kept saying we need some big band for the reception, but since we were having less than 100 people at the wedding, we didn’t think it made sense to have like a 10 person band, it just seemed like it would overwhelm the whole wedding. And we knew we wanted a band component since my father plays guitar and I had a feeling would want to play a song at some point. Then we spoke with Scott, he seemed to understand our vision of having a small band. He loved the idea of my father playing a song, and made suggestions on when was the perfect time for him to play, and even laughed along with our idea of playing “September” by Earth, Wind, and Fire, over and over again, since we were getting married on “the 21st night of September” (we did not do this)! The day of the band was amazing! They even took the time to learn our first dance song, which was a fairly unknown track, and played it beautifully, and surprised us with playing it. Since we thought it was just going to be a recorded version of the song. That was very special to us! And they were more than happy to let my dad play his song to us. Overall, the band's performance was lively and engaging, and they kept our guests dancing all night long. We couldn't have asked for a better band to help make our wedding celebration so memorable, and couldn’t have done it with Scott!”

“Music Masters are professional, organized, and a ton of fun! Terry is a pint-sized bottle of energy who gets people young and old dancing with her light-up shoes, crowd surfing, and dance moves! People were coming up to me during and after the wedding saying how much they loved Terry and wanting her for their wedding/wish they had her for theirs. Our DJ Lou was also great to work with, we had an idea for a 90’s/2000’s hour and gave a few songs we wanted and they came through with the most amazing playlist for the last hour of our wedding. Most songs we requested were played, he did not play a single song off our “do not play” list and he did an excellent job mixing songs from different eras. They called us the week of the wedding to go through the whole night and on the night-of our wedding Terry came and found us for any type of event or question. Also if you haven’t heard of Zap photography, look into it! They take pictures throughout the reception, specifically dancing photos (see photos below) and blow them up on two big screens during the wedding – it was another big hit/not seen at a ton of wedding. Plus you get the photos within days of the wedding. 5/5 stars for Music Masters!”

“All of our guests commented that the music at our wedding was lovely and really tied the whole event together. Our venue did not allow DJ's or amplified sound and Astrograss had no problem playing everything acoustically. They were really great communicating before our event. They learned 5 songs at our request and let us pick plenty others for them to play from their extensive repertoire. They even coordinated with our friend (who is a singer) who wanted to sing something for us which ended up being one of the highlights of the night.”
