I started Sammycakes in 2014 with a simple ombré rosette cake. It’s always been a dream and passion of mine to open my own bakery, after being inspired by my mother always baking for special occasions when I was a kid.

I had my sights set on opening my own shave ice business & spending more time with my husband & two young daughters. Dina's love for baking started during her teenage years, but it wasn't until the Covid pandemic that she turned her hobby into a profession.
