Our mission is to provide more than just flowers- we create a unique, sustainable floral experience for your special day and beyond. Natural design is at the heart of our inspiration and creations. Allowing the seasons to guide us we create romantic, garden-inspired creations with a generous selection of flowers sourced from our own fields located in the hills of Litchfield County, CT., as well as other sustainably sourced blooms to bridge the gap. We use many potted herbs, plants, and even small trees and shrubs in our designs that allow your wedding day to last a lifetime, and serve as unique wedding gifts and reduce waste by over a third.

10/10! Everything we hoped our centerpieces would be! She was on point with the color scheme and vibe we were going for. Our day would have been incomplete without Becky! Thank you for your amazing work and putting your heart into everything you did.

      Fountainhead Floral Design

      5.0

      Milford, CT
      • Starts at $3,000
      • Serves New Milford, CT

The granddaughter of two gardeners, I have always felt a connection to the earth through the soil. When someone brings flowers into a room, something changes...an energy, an excitement! I love being able to bring that kind of beauty into peoples lives. I'm a small-town girl who enjoys anything that involves working with my hands from cooking to knitting. I'm a total animal lover (partial to dogs), a die-hard Grey's Anatomy fan, and I take my martinis extra dirty. When I'm not flowering in our studio in Milford, Connecticut, I'm mommin' to three amazing little boys (our dog Pippa and cat, Galaxy).

Kate was amazing to work with. After our first call she sent over a vision board that confirmed we were on the same page! Our florals were amazing and just as we had discussed over the phone!

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers

      5.0

      Oklahoma City, OK
      • Serves New Milford, CT

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

      Awarded Best of Zola
My husband and I decided to use Flower Moxie because we knew we didn’t want typical wedding flowers and loved that it helped us keep costs down! We loved all the options and helpful step by step directions (we were total flower novices!). An added plus was the collaboration process with friends and family when making our table bouquets and other decorations. One recommendation would be to read ALL the helpful directions and tips from Flower Moxie and to make sure you’re not the only one who knows!

      • Serves New Milford, CT

Thousands of brides across the United States and Canada have trusted Something Borrowed Blooms to provide the perfect flowers for their wedding day. We offer brides the expensive peonies, delicate ranunculus, out-of-season anemones, and the ever-impossible-to-find-magnolia — all at a fraction of the cost.

I had a small wedding with a smaller budget. The best decision I made was to rent my bridal flowers from Something Borrowed Blooms. It saved me money, the flowers were beautiful, shipping and returning was easy. Also, I didn’t have to worry about keeping my flowers cool or on water. Everyone thought the flowers were beautiful. Follow them or SBB insiders on Facebook for inspiration.

She worked within my budget and her prices were much more reasonable than anything else I was quoted. She did everything from my bouquet, to bridesmaids flowers, to my church decorations and everything in the hall. When it came to the flowers for our wedding, we really wanted something different and unique that reflected personalities of me and my husband. We wanted the colors and the design to be really special. As I was piecing together the colors and style of our day, I wanted to find a florist I could be collaborative and then we found Shannon. She could not have been more accommodating and patient through the process, respecting our vision and our budget while bringing creative ideas to the table. She even helped us to incorporate flowers into our ceremony book by covering the binding! She really took our vision and turned it into something we could have never imagined. As a creative myself, I understand the pressure of turning someone’s inspiration into a reality, and Shannon’s execution was flawless and so special. The flowers were such a bright highlight of the day, with the compliments flying. The arrangements and decor were simply gorgeous and could not have been more perfect.

I did a lot of searching and looking into different diy flower companies. As soon as I came across bloom culture and read some of the reviews I knew I wanted to go with them! Alison was so friendly and personable and so easy to work with. She helped put me at ease by answering all of my questions and even helped me to swap out a couple of the flowers in one of the packages to better match my vision for my wedding. I was a little nervous about the flowers lasting all the way until the wedding day (my wedding was on a Sunday and they arrived Wednesday) but by the day of they had opened up beautifully and looked amazing. There were also hardly any flowers damaged or broken when they arrived. With all of the detailed instructions and recipes they provided, putting together the flowers was honestly a breeze once we got started. We didn’t follow the instructions specifically because I had a different number of bouquets, center pieces, etc. that I need to make, but the recipes and instructions were still super helpful. I also watched Alison’s YouTube videos beforehand which helped a ton! Overall very happy with the quality of the flowers, the price, and the excellent customer service. Cannot recommend enough!

Without a doubt Elyse has to be one of the most creative people in the industry to pull off some of the arrangements she’s made. The amount of colors and detail in her work is way more than you’d think possible. You can tell she invests so much time and energy into making sure each arrangement is perfect and suitable for each wedding, especially with our own. The combination of different types of flowers we had is just wild; simply outstanding! Everyone wants to have flowers at their wedding but I’ve never met a florist like Elyse who can make everyone’s wedding seem like it’s as important to her as her own wedding. She really made our wedding feel unique and special.
