Flowers from Kara
Rating: 5.0 (3 reviews)
Albuquerque, NM
  • Serves New Mexico

Flowers from Kara is an eco-friendly wedding florist based in Albuquerque, New Mexico who provides sustainable floristry for all large events. From intimate elopements to large luxury celebrations, our award-winning services come from the heart. Locally sourced flowers and environmentally conscious designs are our passion!

Kara truly went above and beyond for our wedding! From the moment the first email was sent, she was truly present and listened to our vision from the start. Not only is Kara a gem of a human being, but a wonderfully creative florist and a true professional. She was so warm and welcoming to us at the first creative meeting we had with her and she quickly put together a perfect vision board of exactly what we were wanting. We originally were going to go with fake flowers to save some money, but once I came across her portfolio I knew I had to have her florals be a part of our day and we do not regret the decision at all, in fact, the florals were one of our favorite parts of the day! Every guest mentioned how gorgeous the florals were. Our venue was already very beautiful on its own, but Kara's flowers took it to another level. She was so easy and pleasant to work with the entire journey and she always brought a smile and a wonderful upbeat attitude. We fully trusted Kara and she took so many worries off our plate handling set up. If you want to work with Kara, I highly recommend giving her full creative freedom, she truly wowed us with her color palette and creativity with our venue setup. We loved working with Kara and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a florist who uses local flowers supporting local farmers and uses sustainable materials!

Elite Weddings & Events by, Albuquerque Florist
Rating: 5.0 (1 review)
Albuquerque, NM
  • Starts at $85 per arrangement
  • Serves New Mexico

Hello, we are Elite Wedding and Events by Albuquerque Florist. We are a custom full-service florist located in Albuquerque and serving all of New Mexico. No wedding or event is complete without Elite. The name Albuquerque Florist came into existence in 1999 but the history of the company goes back a good many years. It began as a family-owned neighborhood business in 1950 serving its local community southwest of downtown Albuquerque.

This was the BEST vendor that we hired for our wedding. I wanted a high-end feel on a serious budget..... and Alex Montoya at ABQ Florist absolutely DELIVERED! Neither myself nor my close loved ones could believe the value for the absolutely stunning arrangements they provided for our wedding. This sounds really dramatic, but I was heartbroken that we couldn't just preserve the flowers permanently in time. The next day I took tons of pictures of them and just could not stop staring at them!!! Alex took my vision and he understood it perfectly...I almost feel like he took my vision and brought it to the next level because it was even better than what I imagined they would be. EVERYONE... I mean EVERYONE was commenting on the flowers, specifically - including my BROTHER who is still talking about how gorgeous they were!!! People have been talking about the flowers nonstop because they were easily the most beautiful display of flowers I've ever seen in my LIFE. I would love to keep coming back to ask for this arrangement over the years to remember our wedding. I'm still fawning over the incredible work of ABQ florist and I could not believe the value for what they produced. Just INCREDIBLE. This will be the BEST money you ever spent!!!!

Forever Floral Designs is one of my favorite local businesses to shop from. The bouquets are stunning! I love the idea of having a flower bouquet that will not wilt! The Solo wood flowers are beautifully made and so detailed. I highly recommend this shop if you are looking for unique gifts or a way to add some floral beauty into your home, The owner is one of the sweetest people I've ever met, it is always a joy to talk to her and see her passion for her art.

All The Pretty Flowers
Rating: 5.0 (1 review)
Santa Fe, NM
  • Starts at $2,500
  • Serves New Mexico

Hi, my name is Amanda Schutz and I'm the owner and designer of All The Pretty Flowers. A Santa Fe native, I love calling New Mexico home. With a background in architecture, art history, and interior decoration, my fascination and passion for art and design fell into the hands of some of nature's most delicate and interesting creations, flowers. My love for flowers goes back as far as I can remember and I absolutely love what I do! I’ve been working with flowers for over 10 years and there’s always something new to learn about. I’m continuously discovering new blooms, native flora, and things like vases and vessels to work with.

Katrin is such a kind and welcoming person, as well as an amazing florist! I gave her some colors that I wanted for the wedding, but I knew nothing about which flowers would be good or in season. She had photos for me of flower inspiration, but on the day it was like the pictures were in real life! The flowers were just stunning and made the day! The centerpieces and outdoor pieces were snatched up by guests afterwards!

The flowers from Something Borrowed Blooms were, above all, gorgeous. They also cost a fraction of getting real flowers from a florist. (As in, several thousands of dollars less for something equally beautiful.) The flowers got many compliments and everyone was shocked they weren't real! The centerpiece and bouquets in the attached photos are from the Wren collection. The customer service at Something Borrowed Blooms is also highly responsive and helpful. Getting your wedding flowers from Something Borrowed Blooms is one of the best planning decisions you'll make: the blooms are high quality and easy to use, plus MUCH friendlier for your wallet and the environment.

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers
Rating: 4.8 (100 reviews)
Oklahoma City, OK
  • Starts at $350
  • Serves New Mexico

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Awarded Best of Zola
I ordered the "peaches and cream" small package. We decided to skip on ceremony florals, and only have handhelds and bud vases at the reception. We did buy a few more flowers from the grocery to add more peach once the flowers arrived. We made and medium sized bridal bouquet, 4 bridesmaids bouquets, 3 corsages, and 7 bouts. (With lots of flowers left over). My bridesmaids and I did the arranging the morning before the wedding; it was fun, and a great start to the weekend. None of us had experience, but it all turned out great! If you or your bridal party are mildly crafty, I'd highly recommend it!

Ladybird Lusk
Rating: 5.0 (7 reviews)
Salida, CO
  • Serves New Mexico

Hi! My name is Ysabella and I have been in the florist industry for 4 years now. I started out of my small shop and have grown into doing mostly weddings and events. I love working with brides and helping them turn their vision into reality! Every wedding is so unique and truly different, these small differences are what I believe makes each wedding stand out and what I am here for!

I was absolutely blown away by my wedding florals provided by Lady Bird Lusk! They were so beautiful and completely exceeded my expectations in every way! My only regret is not preserving my bouquet after the wedding so I could keep it forever. From the first time I talked to Ysabella on the phone it was clear she understood my vision and was able to make a mood board for me that was exactly what I had in mind. She was willing to do a few calls with me over the year of planning as I wanted to change and add things. She helped me think through how to make a large brick wall behind our head table more beautiful since it would be a focal point. She had the idea of trying out a floral frame over the table along with the string lights and hanging greenery that I wanted on the wall. I actually didn't know what to except and when I saw it I was truly in love with how stunning it looked. All of the bud vase florals were clearly so carefully hand picked and unique. The Arch at our ceremony was also stunning and matched our moody vibe perfectly. What makes it even better is Lady Bird Lusk was about half as expensive as some of the other quotes I received for flowers! She really is absolutely amazing at making your vision come to life and making it better than you even envisioned. Plus she's so sweet and fun to work with. Highly reccommend!

After the global zombie apocalypse, in the early winter of '24, I heeded the call, picked up my shovel and shotgun and headed out to the fields. Protecting this wide world from the pestilence that is the zombie flower is no small feat, but I've learned to survive. I've made it my mission to hunt these jokers down, wrangle them together, and to serve to you dead off the proverbial platter. In these post-apocalyptic times, the zombie flowers make for excellent mantle trophies, but some have said they make awesome wedding bouquets. Whatever your cup of tea, these zombie flowers are one of a kind prepared just for you.

We contracted Zombie Flowers to provide bouquets for our runway models at Uncon Bridal Con. They were amazing at their communication leading up to the event and delivered the bouquets promptly according to our schedule the day of the event. Their punctuality gave our models enough time to rehearse the runway with their florals. Aside from their great professionalism, Zombie Flowers is a super creative company. Their floral arrangements can be described as wild, yet put together giving a very unique aesthetic that you can't find from Etsy. The best thing that brides say about their products is that their lightweight and already preserved for life. We cannot recommend them enough to add something special to your wedding day!
