“On August 23rd a 20-Year Class Reunion took place at the Santa Ana Hotel & Casino. All the months of planning was in place for that evening. I had concerns a few days earlier when the DJ was not replying to my texts. On 08/22 around 6:00 pm I stopped by his business and called him requesting he call me back. On the morning of August 23rd I received a text (not a phone call) that the DJ “Got shot, in the hospital, won’t make it tonight.” (Keep in mind, apparently the incident was road rage. If this were true, every news channel in ABQ would have broadcast the incident because gun fire was involved; it never made the news.) I truly found this excuse to be bogus, and a very unprofessional way to get out of a commitment. You can only imagine my shock in reading the text. The event was taking place in nine hours and I needed to find a DJ. I went online and reached out to several DJs who took advantage of my dilemma by trying to price gouge me, unbelievable! I reached out to TOO HOT TO STOP and Max was more than happy to DJ our event. I provided Max with a Playlist and he did a phenomenal job playing the music requested. Max was punctual, professional, and very easy going when communicating with him. The Committee and I are so appreciative for all Max did to make the evening a success. In looking for a DJ, no matter the event, I would not hesitate in recommending Max. THANKS MAX!”
